~~Act like a lady. Think like a boss, or more precisely, like a QUEEN.~~ ..Via Stellar
Chapter 13: Queen Victoria
Via's POV
"Oh, that looks so sweet." Someone cheered in a high-pitched and dreamy tone. I must be stuck in my wildest dreams.
'Am I still dreaming?'
"Shut up, Princess, you'll wake them up."
'Yup, I am pretty sure I'm still dreaming'
"Jealous." Someone said, and I was close to being sure that there were two people arguing.
'Screw this, I'm NOT dreaming.'
And that's when I snapped awake, slowly, adjusting to the blobs of things around me. Here's the thing. Without my contacts, the surroundings seem to all be gigantic blobs of color.
"See what you did, you woke her up!" A strong British accent said, as if reprimanding the other girl.
"Huh! But at least Cameron didn't wake up." The other girl rebutted.
"I can't see a thing." I muttered as I tried to get up, but I felt something stop me from even moving my arms.
As if it was wrapped around me.
"Don't fight it. If you can't move, tell us what you need first." The girl with a strong British accent told me.
"Uh.. Are you Princess?" I queried, recalling the name of the girl whom Cameron mentioned last night.
"Anne." She corrected.
"Oh, hi Anne." I smiled and tried to wave, but again, that 'something' that was wrapped around me stopped me at the elbows, so only half of my arm was able to move.
"Hey there. You're?" She responded, and finished off with a question.
"I'm Victoria, but you can call me Via." I replied.
"Oh, so you are the famous Via Stellar. I've heard a lot about you." She replied, and as much as I couldn't see distinctly, why could I feel her smirking?
"Uhm... okay." I shrugged.
"Oh, wait. I didn't quite complete that, I've heard a lot of good stuff from you." She added in.
I shrugged once more. It was sort of creepy, but she was very blunt, I guess.
"Cool." I let out a small smile to cover up the creeped-out expression that hid under it.
"That's because Cameron acknowledges you as his first American friend, Zack acknowledges you as his funniest friend and Mackenzie said, back when we met her at the party, that you were her best friend." Assuming with the fast-paced talking and the high pitch, it was Princess who said that.
"Oh, is that so?" I found myself wanting to hear more of it all of the sudden.
"Yes," There was a voice change, so this was Anne who spoke, " plus, when we're at school, you're known as the 'Face of the Campus'." She proceeded.
"I don't really think I am. People say I'm nothing but a mistake." I smiled, bitterly.
"Then prove them wrong. You know, Zayn Malik once said, 'No matter how many times people try to criticize you, the best revenge is to prove them wrong.', and so be it, yes?" Anne said proudly.
