Chapter 26: Creo Que Te Amo
Via's POV
IT'S CHRISTMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS.
"Good morning world. Good morning life. MERRY CHRISTMAS!" I exclaimed waking up ecstatic. No, wait. I was beyond ecstatic. As speedily as I possibly could, I stretched out of bed, got my contacts in and everything in place. I had slept with rollers in my long red locks to save time.
I wore a red and gold dress today with black tights and boots. My hair neatly pinned back with a hair bow and the rest of the accessories were just clean and simple. Viola! Perfect.
In a matter of ten minutes, I was running down the stairs screaming, "Merry Christmas guys!"
"Woah, calm down little sissy. Merry Christmas to you too, by the way." Austin greeted me and pulled me into a bear-crushing hug, considering he was just himself.
"Merry Christmas to you, too, Dustin." I said while he gave me an even more bear-crushing hug.
"What about me? Don't I get a hug?" My mom cooed so I threw my hands around her and embraced her tightly.
"¡Feliz Navidad!" I greeted her in Spanish, she said, "¡Feliz Navidad, también!", she said that meant Merry Christmas, too.
"So what is the plan for today?" I queried.
"I'm not really sure yet. The Venemas have gone off to New York today to celebrate their Christmas there, which is obviously out of the question for us." Mom chuckled and we three mofos did too.
"Our maids and butlers and all that have gone off to their homes first, until new year of course."
"Okay, how about we spend our day just here together, I'll cook us up something good for breakfast and lunch, then if you guys choose to have dinner here, that'll be fine, but I'm giving you the option on whether to spend it with friends or whatnot." She explained.
"Sounds like a plan." I told her.
"Okay. You guys get cozy while I whip up a holiday breakfast buffet." Mom cheered. My mom is weird, but I guess that's why I'm her daughter.
Moments later, I could smell what exactly my mom meant by, "Holiday breakfast buffet."
"Served," Mom called out from the dining room, and in response to that, my brothers and I ran, (I'm not exaggerating nor joking) into the dining room to see every mouthwatering meal on the table cooked to perfection.
'Am I even a Stellar? How does my family manage to cook like this,' I silently wondered while I'm pretty sure I just stood there immobile drooling over the food.
There were churros, of course some paella rice, roasted chicken, sandwiches, fruit salad... and a crap ton more.
"Mom, how'd you even whip this up in like one hour?" Dustin asked who looked very delighted with the meals on the table.
"Because I'm superwoman," Mom replied resulting to the three of us to laugh at her, "and because I'm just that awesome."
You're not hearing me object her, right? That's because mom REALLY is Superwoman. She really is in my opinion.
"Whatever mom, this is absolutely delicious!" Dustin said while he began to stuff his face with mom's cooking.
Everyone was silent at the table, because all you could hear was mere chewing and delighted moans from the delish food served.
