To "someone": SCREW THE DISTANCE BECAUSE YOU ARE COMPLETELY WORTH IT.
Chapter 21: It's Just a Date
Via's POV
"Phew! Oh my, we're finally home." I exclaimed throwing myself on the couch, exhausted. Jetlag is a killer.
I find it kind of interesting how time zone conflict works. We left Madrid at around ten o'clock nighttime and arrived at California also at night, although I wasn't able to tell what exact time anymore because I was so dizzy and my mind wasn't working properly anymore.
"You can say that again." Mom said in the same manner I did- exhausted.
"Well, I'm gonna be at my room and have a good long sleep." Dustin announced, throwing the bags elsewhere in the living room. He looked like a zombie already, a drunk one too, but I wouldn't blame him.
"Yep, me too! I'm gonna hibernate. Night mom, Via." His twin added trailing towards their room.
"Night!" I called out. "Mom, same goes for me. I need to get some decent slumber. I'll go to my room, night again."
No reply whatsoever came. I peeped over my shoulder as I went up the stairs and found that mom had already dozed off on the couch. Oh well.
I didn't bother to change into my pj's anymore because I'm lazy and beat. I flung myself on the bed and to dreamland I went.

"Rise and shine queen."
As I carefully opened my eyes, I felt the sunlight's rays of heat through the Venetian blinds touch my skin, so I rubbed my face and felt for the glasses somewhere on the counter near my bedside.
"Sleep well?" Putting my glasses on and blinking a few more times, I pushed the comforter off my feet and pulled my knees closer to my torso.
Either it was because I was half-asleep (or at least my mind was) or because I was just that absentminded that's why I responded to that voice without even thinking
"Yes I did, and...Ahhhh!!!! Holy mother of rainbows! Cameron! What the hell are you doing here?!" I literally jolted my entire body upwards which ended up making me miserably fall off the bed, and to make matters worst, hit the counter to the side, miserably humiliating and hurting myself.
Ouch.
'Victoria, I'm really starting to doubt you as a straight A student'
"Well good morning to you too." He chuckled softly showing off his dimple before extending his helping hand.
"I'm sorry." I grabbed his hand and helped myself get up a well, but because I may have overdid it, so when I got up my entire body went forward until Cameron's face was only inches away from me.
I ended up, shrieking. Again.
"Oh my God, what is wrong with me? Sorry, again!" I exclaimed feeling pale. I stepped back to turn the distance into an acceptable or comfortable type. Talk is cheap, but my actions are so... shameful.
"Stop apologizing Via, seriously, it's cool. Nothing's wrong with you. I think it's cute." He finished off the sentence with his sweet grin exposing his deep dimple once more, which is so attractive. I can't even, ugh.
My pale color transcended in a matter of seconds into a bright red color. Damn hormones.
"You think it's... cute?" I manage to choke out in disbelief, "Well, it's not. It's so stupid. I'm a lost cause."
