Mackenzie's heart collasped as she tried to hold back the tears in the bathroom stahl. She lowered herself cautiously to the floor, trying not to break anything else that would needed to be fixed.
She let out a shaky sigh as she heard the bathroom door open and footsteps and chatter walked in.
She saw huge platform red boots and heard a annoyingly slow voice say "Yah, and he even said that he liked my hair."
Mackenzie cursed silently under her breath at the sound of Chasity's voice.
"Well who could blame him?" she heard another somewhat low pitched voice say. She heard the sound of bubblegum popping.
Megan Joules.
Mackenzie didn't dare make a sound. Instead, she collected the pieces of her sanity, and calmly walked out of the stahl to the sinks. Chasity and Megan's eyes looking at her curiously.
"Hey, aren't you that girl who hangs out with Tyler all the time?" Chasity asked in a relatively polite and unintelligent voice.
"Yeah. Mackenzie." Mackenzie said with a fake smile.
"Yeah! For the longest time I thought that you and Tyler were going out."
The words stung slightly. She wished that it was true. She yearned for it to be. But, only under the speculative eye of the public was it true.
"Yeah, no. We're just friends." she said, trying not to shake her breath.
"Do you know what he's all hung up about? He's like depressed or something. Did something happen?" Chasity asked in true concern.
What a shame that Tyler had to pick the slut who cares.
"Yeah, we just got in a fight." Mackenzie said. She gave another half hearted not really there smile.
"Oh, well he's pretty messed up about it. I think maybe you should apologize or something." Chasity suggested.
"Sure." Mackenzie said, and with a phony reassuring smile left.
She burned with fury at the fact that that stupid tramp tried to tell her what to do. What she should do for Tyler.
As if that dumb bitch knows anything about Tyler. Mackenzie snarled in her head.
She hated Chasity. She hated Megan. She hated everyone.
Especially herself.
