Mackenzie Lowly shut her locker and cautiously walked down the hallway of Richard Henry Lee Middle School. She was looking for her best friend Cathryn James.

As she was lost in thought, a force like a wrecking ball knocked her to the ground with a oof. She groaned and felt her face get hot.

There was a fit of deep chuckles, "Hey, I'm sorry." said a man-boy voice.

She looked up to see that the perpitraitor was none other then Tyler Landry, and she wasn't really a huge fan of him to say the least. She collected her things, grabbing her pencils out of his hands, and stood up. All the while, glaring at him.

She looked up at his face, he was a good 4 inches taller than she was, and narrowed her eyes when she saw humor in them.

"You alright?" he asked with a nervous grin, seeing that she was clearly pissed.

"Yeah. Fine." she said sharply.

"You're name is Mackenzie right?" he asked as he analyzed her face.

Small, with a spatter of light brown freckles across her tan face. Her hair was wavy and just a couple shades darker then her skin. Her eyes were a sweetly sharp hazel color, with more green then brown.

"Yeah. And you're name is Tyler." she said sardonically.

He chuckled, "What class do you have?"

"Wilson."

"Oh, that sucks, I have Johnson."

"Yeah, well see you." Mackenzie said and walked quickly away. Tyler Landry was nothing but a heartless douche who used girls and played with their feelings.

But, he was cute.

Mackenzie sat down in the seat closest to the door, she looked out it only to find that Tyler was in the other classroom, waving his arms around like he was signaling an airplane.

He was looking straight at her with a doopey grin on his face.

Mackenzie just gave him a 'what the fuck are you doing' face and turned back to the teacher.

To her extreme annoyance, Tyler Landry didn't leave her alone for the rest of the day. Or week. Or year.

In fact, she ended up liking him. She ended up liking him a lot.
