Spirits [completed]

NOSTALGIC

Shibazaki-san ordered us to do our last job here in Tokyo. Clean the Athena Plan archive. Matsumoto-kun and I went to the archives room to finally get rid of the Athena Plan. It's nice to see it go because everything has now been brought into court. Everything about the Athena Plan. 

"Do you think we really have to burn all the information?" I asked Matsumoto-kun.

"Orders are orders. Besides, it's out anyway." He said.

I shook my head and smiled. "I'm gonna keep this. As a good and bad memory. We have 3 years in Kansai. It's gonna be long. I don't want to forget everything that happened." I told him. "I have a good idea." Matsumoto-kun said out of the blue. 

We immediately head out and rode on his bike. I don't know where he's taking me but I have to trust him to know. Finally, we arrived at the Settlement as the wind blew on my face. It's like Nine and Twelve are calling me. My heart fluttered so suddenly.

"Bury it here with them. It can rest in peace, and so can they!" 

"You're right, I should bury it here."

Matsumoto-kun and I grabbed a shovel and we dug up the ground to bury the Athena Plan file. I put it there safely, and we covered it with land. "There." I said while I panted. It's finally gone now. It's now along with other 26 children. I looked at Matsumoto-kun and smiled. 

"I'm happy. Not only for myself, but for you." 

He chuckled. "What's with that?" He said and I realized it. That was too cheesy! I suddenly laughed. "I've never seen you laugh like this before." He said and I sighed. "Me neither." I said. We looked up at the sky and surprisingly, I remembered that time 5 years ago. That exact day when Japan lost the electricity because of the bomb Nine and Twelve had stolen. It was this same sky back then.

"We should go back." Matsumoto-kun said.

"Yeah." I agreed and we rode on the bike.

While we were on the highway, an idea popped into my mind. "Do you mind if i call you Shin?" I asked him. "Not at all, Lisa." He said and we laughed. Lisa...the last one who called me that was Twelve. I'm happy to have this feeling once again. 

It's nostalgic.
