Mabel's P.O.V.

So, it's been like five hours since Bill took (Y/N). Me and bro-bro have obviously been freaking the math out.

Poor Dipper has been studying Bill's page in the journal non-stop trying to figure things out. He mutters under his breath; sometimes it's angry threats and other times it's incoherent, worried whispering. Dipper also tried to get a hold of Ford, but he's still overseas solving some mystery.

As for me, my cycles have been crying, eating, hiding under a blanket and punching a yellow pillow. That triangle will be sorry for what he did...

Dipper whimpered. I looked over to his plain side of the room. He had his head rested on his knees with the journal pushed away. My twin instincts kicked in as I walked over to comfort him.

Dipper's P.O.V.

If I hadn't hated Bill before, I sure hated him now. (Y/N) was completely innocent. Bill could hurt her or worse and it would be all my fault.

I've studied his page so long trying to find something. However, it didn't have anything. The journal always had an answer, a way, but there wasn't one this time...

I was beyond frustrated and worried. Putting my head on my knees feeling vulnerable, Mabel walked over to me.

Her hair hung over my head and she smelled like cinnamon. It was somewhat comforting. I cried into her shoulder. "M-Mabel" my voice broke. "A-All my fault. Something bad h-happened to h-her."

Mabel shushed me. "It's not your fault. S-she's okay. S-she" Mabel started crying, too. "I don't even know her overly well. She's my friend but-but-" She sobbed some more and crawled to the wooden floor.

She pulled her pink sweater over her head. Uh oh, Sweatertown. I crawled awkwardly next to her on the floor and put my arm around her. "I-It will be okay." Mabel said, rocking and trying to calm herself down. "It will all be okay."

Your P.O.V.

There was a bright light and a muffled buzz. I came into contact with the hard floor with a thud. "(Y/N)!" What the? What's going on?

Two bodies were hugging mine. "O-oh my god." Mabel cried into my shoulder. Her tear-stained eyes looked into my confused ones. "We were so worried! What happened? What did that evil isosceles monster do to you-"

"Mabel, give her some space" Dipper said softly. He wore a small, relieved smile with very red eyes. His expression soon turned dark. "What did Bill do to you? Did he hurt you? What did he want? If I ever see him again I'll-I don't know what I'll do but I'll make him sorry he ever tried to make contact with you!" He huffed.

You were slightly confused why they would think such things but then remembered that Bill did some things in his past. But even if he did bad things, everybody deserves a second chance...even if it's a demon.

Grabbing one of Mabel's and one of Dipper's hand, you smiled reassuringly. "Guys, I'm okay. Turns out he took me to mess with you guys. Being honest, he's not that bad of a guy... triangle thing. We just hung out at an amusement park. Really-"

Dipper tore his hand away from my grip. He was basically yelling. Mabel let go out of surprise. "(Y/N)! Don't believe a word he says for a second! That's the trickery he does to get you to trust him! He'll tell you you're special, he'll tell you you matter but he doesn't mean any of it! He is a demon! Feeling and empathy are non-existent to him!  What makes you any different than the others?"

Reality hit hard. Dipper was right. You were stupid to fall for the flattery, of course none of it mattered. Bill was just playing the game. But you were so-what? Happy? Happy that someone talked to you and treated you so nicely?

Mabel looked over. I swear that child can sense sadness. She barely got out your name before you started to cry and hug her. She patted your hair and led you to her bed. 'Shh,' She whispered.

Dipper's P.O.V.

It shattered my heart into a million pieces to see (Y/N) in pain. She hiccuped as she cried and clung to Mabel's sweater. "I-I'm so stupid h-how could I fall his tricks. W-why is it worth crying over? Let m-me tell you it's not. I-I" she was in full hysterics at this point. "I-I was just so happy s-somebody cared! T-too blind-d to s-see-"

I blushed slightly as I lightly touched her hair. She looked up to me with her tear filled orbs. She sniffed. I caught one of her falling tears with my index finger. Mabel looked down and continued to stroke her hair, her worry still evident on her face.

"This is bull! He's not going to get away with hurting you!"

"D-dipper, it's fine." (Y/N) squeaked.

"No, it's not fine. I care about you so much! And if you think I'm just going to stand on the sidelines and let this happen then you are wrong!" I marched out of the room before either of the girls could protest.

The stars glowed brightly in the night sky. Wildlife was alive in the forest and the moonlight perfectly illuminated it all. It took about ten minutes to get to my destination.

"No point in hiding, Bill! I know you're here and we're going to talk!"

He appeared in the moonlit clearing and smirked coldly. "Anything for my favorite Pinetree~"

Mabel's P.O.V.

(Y/N) had calmed down after about ten minutes. She still huffed and hiccuped but I was able to release her. "It feels good to cry sometimes, huh?" I asked. She nodded.

"Thanks, Mabel." She whispered as she stood up from my bed. "Look, for both of our sakes, can we pretend that didn't happen. Please?"

I stood up and put my hand on her shoulder. "Why would I want to go and do a thing like that? Things like that bring friendships closer together and that's a good thing. It's also a good thing to cry. I don't know where you got your ideology of crying but, it is okay to cry."

Her shoulders slumped. "Okay, Mabel. I trust you." She smiled worriedly at me. "Promise you got my back and won't dump me."

"Well, doi! Don't be stupid!" I ruffled her hair. "Who would dump a friendship? That isn't glamorous!"

"Heh, you'd be surprised." She whispered.

I pretended not to hear. "What was that?" She denied she said anything. "Alright, then Stupid number 1. Let's go find Stupid number 2."
