I'm sorry, Theo.

I wasn't able to function because of Sapph's weird text messages. What does she meant by that? That woman will be the death of me.

Gustong-gusto ko siyang puntahan pero andito na si Chanel, she's my job, the woman whom I need to take care of.

Her private nurse approached me "Dr. Monterèal, the patient wishes to see you "

My hands are shaking when I was about to enter Chanel's room.
Pinihit ko ang door knob, she heard it then and her face instantly lit up with the sight of me.

" Ms. Johnson " I formally addressed.

Tumawa siya ng bahagya
" Oh come on, Theo! Don't be too formal, just Chanel or Rio "

Chanel Riomie Johnson. Oh the nicknames I used to call her. I was the only one who called and who can call her ' Rio' well, that was before Sapphira.

" Anong kailangan mo? " tanong ko.

She shrugged " I just want to see you "

I smiled l Don't worry, pagsasawaan mo ang mukha ko, you'll see me everyday "

She smiled a bit, sadly. I know she wants to talk about something.

" Do you want to know why I didn't tell you that I'm ill? " she asked.

Tumango ako, whatever confession she might say won't affect Sapphira and I's relationship. I just want to know. That way, I'll be free from the thoughts of my shortcomings before.

" I chose to hide it from you because I want to get better for you, for us. Naisip ko hindi kita kayang ipaglaban dahil mahina ako "

Let's put it this way. Four years ago, Chanel was my first girlfriend. Our relationship lasted for two years, she broke up with me for no reason. That was the day I was so devastated. I stared dreamily at the view outside. Reminiscing every details about how Sapphira and I met. Since then, I thought, God turned messy into something beautiful.

I was cut off my reverie when heard sniffs. Bumaba ang aking tingin kay Chanel. She was covering her face with her hands. Damn it, she's crying and this is not fucking good.
