It was awkward. The crisp air around them was slightly chilling, blowing gently around them, creating the swishing sound of the trees. No birds were screeching or anything though, so it was slightly eerie. Until this one bird cried out in pain, making Emily's internal organs shiver as well as her outsides.
"So, I guess we have a place to go to." Whispered Liam, so quiet Emily could barely hear him.

"Yeah. I guess we do." Whispered Emily back. Liam stepped foreword, and began to follow the path, leading into the forest. His shoes crunching quietly on soft stones. Emily was annoyed at herself, but also at Liam, for giving her the silent treatment. He didn't even know what had happened, so why was he being so cold. Emily shuddered, this place was beginning to have an impact on her.
"Liam I-" She began, but he interrupted.
"Emily, I don't know what you did with that guy, but I don't like him, and right now I don't want to talk about it. We have a place to go to. The faster we get there, the better."
Emily sighed, this was going to be a long trip.
