Chapter Six: Building the Squad

        Radar and I approached the beautiful young lady that we saw earlier. Radar is so delighted to meet this girl. He did the first talk which is to greet the lady.

"Hello guys, and you are?" she asked.

"I'm Radar! And he's Jack. By the way what's your name pretty?" Radar answered and eventually asked.

"Well I am Eva Preston, nice to meet you," Eva answered with a delicately feminine voice that I've ever heard.

"Care to talk?" Radar asked.

"Sure! Have a seat, I know what you want, you want to know me then make me fall in love then kiss me and lastly leave me and hurt me," she said with dramatic tune. It left Radar and I speechless. I could clap for her.

"Uhh? You get us wrong. We only wanted to have you as a friend, that's it," I said.

"Omg. I'm very sorry. I thought that's what you want because I spent my whole life with boys who only wanted to get me. Honestly, this day, about twenty guys walked away from me because I said that. Well, you two are different. I like that," she said while laughing.

"So, what can you say about here? Us in here?" Radar asked.

Eva and Radar went on talking while I was staring at the people who watches us, mostly Upper Classes. Maybe because we talked to the most beautiful girl in the Dome which fortunately belonged in the Lower Class. I got back to Eva and Radar.

"We thought faces like yours belonged to Upper Class, what is your power? Your ability?" I asked.

"I can make boys or even girls fall in love with me. I have the ability called Persuasion," she said.

"Seriously?" Radar exclaimed.

"Yes, that's why everyone, including you both falls under my spell." She said as she tricked us.

"You're awesome!" Radar and I exclaimed. She thanked us with a bow.

"Fact is, I'm not that beautiful as you see," she continued. I could see a glint of sadness in her eyes. I thought about not asking her because eventually we'll know it. "Can we be friends?" Eva asked.

"No way! I mean yes! Why not? I said no way because I thought we're the one who'll be asking that," Radar said.

"You see I was thinking about having a squad." Eva replied.

It happened that Radar cannot hide his happiness and eventually explained that we also want to build a squad.

"What are we waiting for? Let's find more!" Eva exclaimed.

My expectation was to go from building to building or dorm to dorm to find more Lower Classes but Eva just get her phone from her pouch.

"Have you signed up on Bthrougher?" That's the social site for all of the students here. You see, you can chat them, post a picture and many more. It's like the Facebook thingy that we believed our ancestors used," Eva said.

We got our phones and there's an advertisement which says "Sign up on Bthrougher to find more friends."

I remembered back on my house, my grandfather always tell me stories about the Generation Z and what they usually do. There are a lot of stories about them like they use computers, they liked to take pictures, and they usually go to parties, but none of us believed it. It is also believed that they have medicine which can make you high all the time. I wonder what does it mean when they say high all the time. But even if the existence of Generation Z is arguable, they left us some of their traditions.

Now, if you say "Please follow me on Twitter", that means please bear with me or listen to me. That is one of the idiomatic expression related to the legend of Generation Z.

Radar and I signed up on Btrougher. It needs a lot of your personal information including your picture. It also needs to scan your wristband to know whether your an Upper Class or Lower Class. Then we are successfully signed up. I added Radar and Eva as one of my companions and also Jane but a Lower Class cannot add an Upper Class as a companion also Upper Class to Lower Class reversely. You can just touch the button "Stalk" so that you'll be in touch with him/her.

"This is amazing!" Radar said shrilly. 

"What is amazing about this application is that some Lower Classes will know you and also can comment on what your postings and thoughts." Eva explained.

We looked for some Lower Classes in Bthrougher. Eva suggested Allan Capricov which we also searched and saw that his ability is light manipulation. We thought of him as a friend and imagined that its amazing to have him but Radar told us to find another. We looked on Elena Madaya, a girl with an odd ability. She can produce rain right through her hands.

After a lot of searches and lookouts, Eva decided to go to her room. Radar asked me to chaperone Eva and so I did.
