Chapter Twelve: Into the Abandoned Building

         "That was a great help Eve," I said.

"My pleasure and so as the guard's pleasure," Eva replied while laughing.

"You should have seen the boy's faces Eve," Oil said giggling.

We all laugh run towards the tall trees. As I looked back I could see that the school buildings are slowly fading away. I should feel free but I didn't felt any change in my emotions aside from the fact that I felt nervous and excited.

I had my thoughts again like "What if there's a monster out there? What if there are eyes out there which I meant cameras? What if our pedagogues knew about this?". I should be called the King of Thoughts cause it might seem legit. Anyways, I did not felt afraid, maybe because of the fact that I am not alone or maybe because these guys have awesome abilities. In fact, what I felt was happiness, I know that Froye is messing with our emotions right now.

"I admit I made you all happy today so that you'll not be scared of the building," Froye admitted.

"Why would we be scared Froye?" asked Oil. "Because in 3, 2, 1 you'll see the building," Froye said as the building showed itself. The building is not that huge but it is creepy. It is a 4-story building with no paint and has wrecked windows.

"Meet Alex Tisdale!" Froye exclaimed.

"This building has a name? Cool,"Paul said.

"Yes, This building has a name. Not only a name because it also has life. He's Alex, a lower class that could make himself turn into a building," Froye said.

All of us are shocked and confused. I looked at the building, it seems smiling at me. I guessed it's true that the building has life. But because the building is ruined and old, I could see Alex was lonely.

"Can we get in Alex?" Froye asked and patted the wall of Alex.

When we got in, the inside is neat and clean. "Feel at home everyone," Froye said.

"How did you knew about all these? About Alex?" asked Radar.

"Well he's my first friend in here, he's actually my roommate. But because he can't control himself of being a building, the pedagogues tried to dump him outside but it's hard because he turned to a building permanently. Madame Gomez, the Punisher got angry of him so he commanded her guards to ruin Alex, and look at what they've done. I saw what happened and I felt sad for my first friend and my roommate, so I cared for him to make him happy," Froye said.

"Then why did'nt you told us before?" Eva asked.

"Because I am afraid you won't believe me. I am also reassuring if you can be trusted," Froye explained.

"Well Alex is cozy," Radar said and we all laugh.

I can't believed it. Alex, a lower class did not control his ability and got abandoned by Ms. Gomez. I couldn't erase in my mind that she is called as The Punisher. Why did Alex didn't control his ability? Does it happens to all lower classes? Sighed. The thoughts again, they're all making me frustrated.

"Where are the drinks you promised Froye?" I suddenly said when we all went to sit in the read couch that eventually turned pink because Paul touched it.

"I'm sorry," Paul apologized.

"It's okay, I guarantee Alex will be happy about it. Oh! I nearly forgot about the drinks, thanks for reminding me Jack. It's on the fridge let me get it for a second," Froye said and walk towards the kitchen.

"Let me help you," Eva said and they both went down leaving us in the second floor. Me and the others left decided to go in the fourth floor to see the whole Dome. We went to the balcony of the fourth floor and waited there for Eva and Froye.

"Wow! This is amazing," cried Oil as she saw the whole Dome.

It's starting to get dark but anyone of us doesn't want to leave Alex alone. We talked about everything, about our families. I didn't felt afraid or any holding backs because I knew it was safe here. Alex is a safehouse where we all could run away from our pedagogues, from all those stupid rules, and from all of the upper class.

Froye and Eva came bringing some bottles of champagne and liqours with some foods.

"I told the guard in the main gate to put these stuffs on the fridge," Froye said. They put the foods and drinks on the table band we all huddled up in circle as Froye started to open the champagne.

"For friendship mi amigos, mi amigas!" Froye shouted.

"And for being a Lower Class!" Oil added. We all cheered and laugh as Froye opened the champagne with boom.

This is what I want. Friends like them, they're becoming my family. We drunk, we laughed, we danced, we sang, we laughed again, we talked, we drunk again, and laugh again. We never got tired, we just have fun like there's no tomorrow. Paul confessed that he likes Oil and said she's beautiful. I'm made Oil blushed awkwardly. We promised to be friends forever and promised to have our backs together.

"We must be honest to each other and must not hide secrets or things to each other," Eva said. When I heard it I felt a stab of guilt.
