putting on the show. Louis (Mareen)

Both of us being famous we knew that we had to at least play nice in public. Even if I did think that Bethany was a snob who was only using Lou, but it was not my place to say. That was his new girl and I had my own guy.

Louis was meant to be my date for the Brits but you know life got in the way and instead we were no longer going together. But like I said I got a new guy who I plan on taking.

Louis's POV~ 

Mareen had her own guy I don't know why I thought that bringing Bethany was a 'not going to be a good idea. He was her new date for the awards but it still felt wrong to be bring someone who was not her to be my date.

Mareen's POV~ 

My car pulled up a few behind One Direction's. no way to tell I'd he brought the bitch. My door was opened before I got a good chance to find her. I stepped out and tried to rush past interviews and pictures to catch up to them. 

I know I said I don't care. But we all knew that it was bull. I pulled my date Caleb all the way across the carpet. 

Louis's POV~

I watched her from the moment she stepped out of that car... with her date a few seconds behind her. I had did not see what was great about him, I was way better looking them him. And Mareen was better looking then Beth.

I did not want to waste my time trying to not car when I can clearly see that she is isn't

I watched Tom the whole night. I cares too much to see 
Mareen to watch her get hurt. and this guy was giving me a bad vibe.

Mareen POV~ 

To get through this night I was going to needed a drink or two. Or enough to make me pass out. I was up for a few awards but I knew that I was not going to be the one to win. One Direction won their share. even while Lou was on stage I could have sworn that he was still glaring at Caleb. Figures the ex hates the new guy. 

The show lasted 2 hours and even though I won nothing I had to stay if I wanted to go to the after party. With Louis and Caleb I could use a drink. 

As soon as the show was over we headed to the bar that the party was. Louis was here. Great. Caleb went to go me a drink but never came back. So I was all alone and starting to get sad with that. I got tired of waiting for my date and instead went to go find him. I was just ready to leave and get this night over with.

I got to drink counter and found no signs of Caleb. I had my back turned but I heard everything stop the music the people talking everyone was watching something from across the room. There was no yelling. you know what they say it was calm too calm. that was what was going on right now. just like everyone I wanted to see the fight as well. 

I took my happy ass over to the corner. Earning myself some rude looks from the others. Bite me. I saw that it was Louis and Caleb. All the more reason to leave.

Now all I had to do was grab him without being noticed even though there was a crowd. I knew that Louis would not fight if he knew that it was a bad idea or I would watch him beat up my new boyfriend, which made him look desperate. I sent him a warning look that proved me to be right. he grabbed Caleb and gave him to me before walking away.

A week later~

Louis never even tried to tell me what made him want to fight. all he ever said was that I would never believe him if he was the one to tell me. As bad as I wanted to know part of me kept telling me he was right. 

Louis POV~ 

Never told Mareen why I was willing to fight. I don't regret it. If I told her that he was kissing someone not her I would look like a jealous ex. I am but this would not help me look good.

I knew that something was off about him. Guess he just wasn't trustworthy. who knows?

I'll just have to wait it out. I did just that too. They broke up another week later I only knew because Mareen called me to yell at me for not telling her. Not that I blame her.

"Why didn't you tell me?" was the first thing she said not even a hello.

" Hello to you too. Mind telling me what happened before you yell at me?" it was too early to think about what I could have done now.

"Caleb. You knew. That was why you wanted to fight. Thanks for that. But why didn't you tell me what he did?" I could hear the shaking in her voice that showed how torn up she was, "You know it hurts more to find out from the press rather then from someone I could trust."

Oh that. "I wanted too by then I would look like a jealous ex boyfriend trying to mess up your new relationship."

"I am sorry but yeah you're right." she said with a small laugh, "Sorry. I know you want what is best for me."

"You what to know what I think is best for you?"

"No tell me." she said with another small laugh.

"Me." and I was completely serous. 

"I know."
