Where did that come from? Louis

Louis POV:

I don't know where that came from. Will you marry me? I don't even have a ring. But I also don't think she heard me.

She had to stay at her parents because someone might have destroyed part of our flat. Now I had to drive her home.

"What?" she asked with a knowing look in her eye.

"Ummmm" I had to quicker then that. "I don't know."

"Sounded like marry me." she said shrugging then turning out the window. "shame."

"Shame? What for?" again only a shrug. "Okay then, here we are."

"Too bad you're not allowed to stay with me." she said getting out once I opened her door.

Your POV:

I walked up to the front porch and watched Louis at his car. I know for sure he said marry me. shame he did not ask I would have said yes.

When I walk in I see my dad on the couch. Feels like old times, I go out with Louis and my dad stays up waiting till I get home. "Hey daddy." 

He smiles then laughs, "This reminds me of when you started dating him."

"Yeah I was thinking the same thing." then I thought more back to our other dates. 

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"It's noth..." Who am I kidding not saying anything never helps, "I think I heard Louis say something about marry me. But I don't know it was quiet and he did not repeat it."

His face only darkened, ''He never asked me." 

"Sorry. Like I said I'm not even sure that he had really said anything."  I yawned real loud, "I love you dad, but I'm tired I'll see you in the morning." i gave him a hug and went off to my old room.

Louis POV:

This morning I woke up to my phone ringing. I saw that it was Y/N. "Hello love. How are you this morning?"

"Louis this is Y/N's dad." oh well at least i did not say anything inappropriate.

"Oh hello Sir. I thought this Y/N her name popped up."

"Louis shut up." all I could think was I didn't do it, "Did you say something about marriage last nigh?" oh well that yeah I did that.

"To myself not to Y/N." and maybe more to her then me.

"Okay, But just so we are clear if you want to marry her you'll have to ask me face to face." Well that clears that up.

"Did she say anything about if I had asked her to marry  me?" Why was I so excited to know if she would say yes?

"No she just looked a little off about it." 

"Oh." I said not really meaning to be heard.

"I gotta go Louis."

"Wait. Can you like try and see if she would?"

"You'll have to ask me before  you really ask her." Well that makes little sense. But he hung up anyway.

Your POV:

When I woke I could ot find my phone. When I went down stairs I noticed that my dad had. "Dad where did you find my phone?"

 "I heard it ringing from your room so I got it so it did not wake you." He looked down and handed to me, "you must have had a lot on your mind and all."

Yeah Louis. "I should call him."

"After breakfast. Think about it while you eat." he looked at where mum was setting up breakfast. "She does not know."

Breakfast was good and it gave me more time to think, "He never directly asked me maybe he was not asking me." you asked once mum was taking away some of the plates away.

"If you think he did not mean it why would it be so heavy on your mind. Unless your worried that he did not really ask and you wanted him to." I didn't know know to respond to that and it was too late because my mum was back.

"Did you call Louis yet?" she asked taking a seat.

"Well no not yet." i looked at my phone one more time before someone knocked.

"I'll get it. You're talking to your mother." and with that dad left.

"Thanks. Oh anyway I just have a lot to think about."

Louis POV:

Y/N's dad got the door. "Good just the man I wanted to see."

"I don't know yet." wow he thinks I'm still on the favor I asked.

"Oh right change of plans. Can I marry Y/N?" 

He looked confused, "Tell me the new plan first boy."

"Well if you say yes. I'll skip knowing if she'll say yes for now. then just go straight to asking her." 

"Okay makes sense, Oh by the way my answer is yes. She is in the Dining room."

Your POV:

We both sat there in silence then I noticed here gaze shifted to someone behind me. I turned to see Louis.

"Hi Y/N, Mrs. Y/L/N." he stood there for a few seconds before continuing, "Can i talk to Y/N alone?"

"Sure I was going to leave soon anyway." my mother said before leaving.

He took her seat, "Does this have to do with last night?" I asked when he was finally down.

"Yes. I thought about what I said."

"So you did say -"

"No you don't say I do." Then he moved off the chair, "Last night it slipped off my tonage, so I have no ring yet. But will you marry me?"

"Yes. I have been thinking about that all night."
