Louis' POV

I walked down the streets of London, looking down at the pavement. I walked past the dozens of clubs and bars that lines this area of town, the music pumping through the walls, drunken people making out in front of them. I past a lamp pot and stopped when I saw the familiar green flier.

Ni-bear... He's probably so scared. Niall and I had been dating for about a week before he went missing and I missed him so much. I quickly walked past the lamp post before I started full on sobbing. Passing an alleyway, I heard some whimpers. I stopped and waited a minute. More whimpers and soon a meow came from the alley. Was there a cat stuck down there? I slowly walked down the alley, being cautious. Suddenly, a movement at the end of the alley caused me to stop. Slowly, a boy emerged from the shadows, limping and whimpering. He had blonde hair and I was surprised to see that he had a cream and brown mixed colored tail sticking out from between his legs and cat ears of the same colour perched on his head. I was even more shocked when he looked up and his eyes met mine. They were the brightest blue eve. Wait, is that Niall?!?!?!

"Niall?!" I whisper.

The boy just whimpered and started trembling violently. That's when I noticed he was only in his boxers. He looked at me for a minute, his head cocked to the side, then his eyes widened and he started purring. I took that as a yes and slowly moved towards him, tears starting to fall. "Niall? Where were you? Who did this to you? What the hell happened to you?" He just stared at me then shook his head. He can't talk? What did they do to my baby?

"Niall, do you remember me?" I asked, bracing myself for him to shake his head. He nodded and smiled, his teeth looked sharper than normal. I grinned back. He pointed at me, made a heart with his hands and pointed at himself. I got the message and ran over to him, scooping his small body in my arms and hugged him tightly, kissing all over his face. He giggled and swatted at me, purring and meowing softly. Setting him down, I looked him up and down. He was so skinny and his face looked bleak and frightened. His eyes had lost most of the beautiful shine I fell in love with and were more grey than blue. I was shocked to see that he was covered in cuts and bruises. What happened to my baby? They turned him into a cat! He can't talk and is injured and oh my god, he's injured! I need to get him home! I swiftly lifted him bridal style and started running to my apartment. Looking down and him, he had the most adorable confused face on. And I couldn't resist leaning down and kissing him. He made a purring noise as I kissed him.

"I'll fix you, my Ni-bear. I promise." I said softly in his ear As we made it to my apartment.
