Yes, this is the oneshot that I already made. I decided to put it in this book. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Louis' POV I stroked his hand, being careful of the IV on it, before resting my head on the space on the bed beside him. "Why you, Liam? Of all the people, why was it you that got hit by a car? Why not someone who deserved it?" I whimpered, sniffling helplessly and wiping a few tears from the corners of my eyes. Of all the horrid people in the world, murderers, rapists, robbers, molesters, why Liam? The sweetest person on earth. I couldn't hold the tears in any longer. It's not fair. We were so happy together. It was our one year anniversary and I was going to ask him to marry me, but it was all ruined when some asshole ran him over coming home from the flower shop! What person speeds when they see a person walking across the street? Oh wait, someone drunk. Oh my god, what if he doesn't wake up? I can't live without him. Nothing would be the same. There wouldn't be anyone to be Daddy Direction. You probably figured it out by now that I'm Louis Tomlinson of One Direction, I'm gay, and I'm in love with Liam Payne. So what? It doesn't change who I am. I'm still Louis and he's still Liam and that's all there is to it. If he doesn't wake up, One Direction isn't going to work anymore. One Direction was made of 5 people, not 4. Liam was the glue that held us together. Cheesy, I know, but it's the truth. Without him, we would be breaking the law or something, which I think he would come down from heaven and kick our asses if we did, but still. There would be no one to get advice from. Sure, the others are good at advice, but they're not Liam. And they never will be. Today was supposed to be perfect. I was going to take him on a boat and have dinner, then ask him to marry me. But, here we are, in the ICU, Him trying to stay alive and me dying slowly with him. I looked up at him. His beautiful brown eyes were closed, I missed them so much, the beautiful brown color, twinkling in the light. His cheeks had lost their rosy red color. That amazing blush is gone. I lent forward and kissed his forehead. "Please wake up Li." I begged, my voice cracking from crying so much. "Please... I can't lose you. I love you too much to let you go."
Liam's POV
Darkness, that's all I could see. Darkness. I felt like it was suffocating me. Where am I? Why am I here? Where's Louis? I could feel someone holding my hand. Could it be? It was Louis. I suddenly heard him say "Please wake up Li. Please... I can't lose you. I love you too much to let you go." Then the darkness surrounded me.
Louis' POV
Right after I said that, I heard a long beep. No! Please no! "NO! LIAM DON'T LEAVE ME LIKE THIS! PLEASE! STAY WITH ME!" Nurses and Doctors were rushing in, pulling the shock paddles. Please... "LIAM! PLEASE STAY WITH ME!"a nurse grabbed my arm and dragged me outside the room. "NOO! LET ME STAY! HE NEEDS ME!" "sir, you need to wait here so we can work on him." The nurse said and walked into the room, slamming the doors behind her. I sunk to the ground, putting my head on the door. "please... let me in... he needs me..." I whimpered. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up to see Harry, Zayn, and Niall standing there, looking at me with teary eyes. "Please, tell me he'll be fine..." I whispered. "We can't Lou. We don't know..." Niall said, trailing off. From the room, we heard "1,2,3, SHOCK! Again. 1,2,3, SHOCK!" Then, a sigh and date and time?" "7:00-pm, Septe-" then, there it was, the beeping noises from the heart monitor. YES! Could it be? Is my LiLi okay? The doors flew open and a doctor stepped out. "Is he okay? Is my LiLi okay?" "Is he okay?" "What happened?" we were bombarding the doctor with questions. He held his hand up and we all fell silent. "Liam is a miracle. This has never happened before. He will be awake in-" I ran through the doors before he finished. There he was, looking healthy again. I ran up and grabbed his hand. "LiLi. It's time to wake up, baby." Right after I said that, his eyes fluttered open and he groaned and looked around until his eyes settled on me. "Boobear? Is that you?" he whispered. " LiLi!." I flung myself at him, bursting into tears. "What happened?" "You got hit by a car. You're fine now, baby." "Oh." Now was the time. "Li, I know you just woke up, but I can't hold it in any longer. Liam." Liam looked a little scared now. "You are my life, my soul, my everything. You are the reason I get up in the mornings and the reason I live. It's been a year and I can't live without you. I realized that after you fell into a coma. I'm not ready to let you go. So, Liam James Payne, will you marry me?" "YES! WITH ALL MY HEART! YES!" He squealed, jumping up and down in his bed. I pulled out the little box and slipped the ring on his finger. The ring said 'forever and always' He stared at it for a while, grinning like the Cheshire Cat. I pulled him close and kissed him on the lips.I missed this so much. I pulled away and whispered "Don't leave me." And he whispered back "Never."
