Proposal of the Sea part two-nouis

Hey guys! This is part two of Proposal of the Sea! I hope you enjoy! You'll probably be mad at me after this part but it gets better! Hehehehe. Anyways, read on!

"Mama? Who's that?"
"That, my love, is the prince."
"The prince?"
"Yes."
"Why isn't he the king?"
"Because he has not taken a queen yet. To become the king of the ocean, he must find a queen."
"Who?"
"No one knows. All the women in the sea hope to be his queen, but he shows no interest."
"He looks lonely."
"Well, he's the last of his kind."
"Oh..."
The mother shark and her daughter watched as the prince of the seas floated a few yards away. He was staring up at the surface, almost with longing. The prince soon turned, beckoned for his dolphin friends to follow, and sped off into the water, leaving the mother and daughter behind.
Louis sped towards a secluded rock, Harry, Liam, and Zayn following close behind. He stopped by the rock and turned to his friends.
"What am I going to do? Coming into contact with humans is taboo. It's suicide. But Niall... I can't just leave him!"
Harry snuck a glance at Liam and Zayn.
"There is always the proposal."
"No. I will not seal the proposal with Niall."
"But, sir,.."
"NO."
The three dolphin people (what should I call them? Is there a Latin name for dolphin people?) froze at Louis' commanding tone. There was no way they could ignore his tone.
"I can't. I can't keep seeing him. Otherwise I'll turn into bubbles. You guys know that."
His three friends stared at him.
"Will you erase his memories of you?" Liam asked, staring straight into Louis eyes.
"I will have to. He cannot know I exist after this." Louis voice sounded
Rough and sad. The three dolphins nodded grimly and watched as Louis sped towards the surface to meet the little boy one last time.

Louis arrived at the surface and noticed the little blonde crouched boy the waters edge again, muttering to himself. Though he was a few yards away, Louis could hear Niall muttering "pretty fishies. You look like the rainbow. Pretty pretty."
Louis came closer and stood up from the water, his body immediately changing to his human form. He watched as Niall glanced up and a grin spread across the boy's face. The grin almost made him hesitate in what he would have to do. But it had to be done to save himself. He smiled faintly.
"Mr. Louis! You came back! It's been days since your last visit!" Niall was almost glowing with happiness, making this harder for Louis.
"It's only been a day. You say that everytime, Niall." Louis was trying not to turn around and leave. Why was he so attached to a small human child? This blonde boy who he had been visiting and talking with for the past month?
"Mr. Louis? You okay?" Niall's voice brought him out of his senses. Louis nodded curtly.
"Niall, I can't stay long. I just wanted to say hi."
Niall's grin dimmed a little.
"Oh. Okay. You have princey stuff, don't you?"
Louis nodded. It wasn't a lie exactly.
"Well, hi, Mr. Louis."
Louis smiled faintly and said hi back.
"Niall, I have to go." His voice sounded funny, almost like he was about to cry. Niall nodded and stared at Louis.
"Will you come back?" But poor naive Niall didn't realise this was a goodbye.
"Maybe one day." Louis throat was choked up, like he are too much seaweed at once. (Mermaid reference!) Louis raised his hand and pressed two fingers to Niall's forehead. He watched as the little boy's eyes started to droop.
"Goodbye, Niall." He turned and strode back into the sea, his cape billowing behind him in the sea breeze.
Niall's mind was foggy, but he kind slightly see. And he watched as the only person who hadn't called him a freak strode into the ocean and dived in. He reached out to the man.
"Mr. Louis..." And his world went dark.
Little did Niall realise, Louis despite him saying that he would not see Niall again, watched the boy over the years as he came to that little spot where they used to meet. He watched the boy over the years watched as he grew up. But he never made contact. But that was about to change
