Nine (Part 1/2)

(CALUMS POV)

Lights from the club make me feel alive. I have been going out every night for the past month. I usually meet up with my friends here for a few drinks and then they leave after they feel like they have had enough Not me. I usually wait here and find a girl to go home with.

Yes I'm married but I'm not happy anymore. (Y/N) and I have been married for about two years and the first months of our marriage were the best days of my life.

Now I feel like I don't have a say in anything I do because I have to consult with her about everything It's getting to the point that I want a divorce. I want someone that is fun and exciting like (Y/N) was once.

Once I get home it's 4 in the morning and (Y/N) is asleep. We never see each other because I usually never come home and when I do I come to sleep and then in the morning I leave before she wakes up because I have to go to work even with a hangover from the previous night.

I decide to take a shower so I can get the smell of perfume off of me from the girl I met tonight and so (Y/N) won't get suspicious. I step out of the shower and still find (Y/N) still sleeping but it's only 4:30 in the morning.

I fall into a deep sleep and set my alarm for 6:30 so I would only get two hours of sleep.

My mind is being taken up by the papers in my bag. I got some divorce papers about a week ago and I haven't had the guts to give them to (Y/N), but I will do it soon. I just can't keep living like this.

(YOUR POV)

I hear Calum arrive home at 4. He's been going out everyday and gets home really late. I love him so much but I don't feel like he loves me anymore.

So now I'm going to put a little bit of more effort into our marriage. Tomorrow I will prepare a lovely breakfast for our anniversary that is tomorrow. I wake up at 6 to start preparing breakfast and I find Calum fast asleep next to me.

I prepare some pancakes and eggs. I hear footsteps coming down the steps and then I see Calum at the end of the steps.

I go up to him and peck his lips and drag him to the
kitchen where breakfast was set up. "I made breakfast so we can eat together before you go to work."
"I actually have to get to work. have to be there early so I don't have time for breakfast. I'll be here early tonight I think we need to talk." "Okay." I said blandly.

I knew he wasn't happy with me anymore. I didn't fulfill his needs. I saw the divorce papers in his folder and I knew exactly what was coming. I tried to show him that I still love him but Iguess that wasn't good enough. The worst thing of it all was that I was pregnant. It happened one time when Harry got drunk and we decided to have some fun I started to pack my things so when we 'talk' I would be ready to leave. I pack everything that belonged to me and I finished about three hours later. I set them. next to my bed.

(CALUMS POV)

I was going to do it today. I was going to ask her for a divorce. I think she knows what the talk is going to be about but I needed her to sign the divorce papers to make it official.

"I'm doing it today. I promise you are the only one I love now." I told Nicole. Nicole and I have been seeing each other for quite some time and I fell in love with her. "Okay. I just want to call you mine and not have you go home to her everyday and put on a fake face so her feelings wont get hurt." She responded.

It was now 5pm and I arrive home. Once I entered I see (Y/N) sitting on the couchwaiting for me. I sit in front of her and she stares blankly at the floor.

"So umm I just wanted to say that I love you and-"

"I know where this is going Calum. You are not happy with me anymore, but I just want to say that I always loved you-."

"I did too bu-"

"No you didn't. Well at least not for the past months, but I know where this is going to end. Lets just get to the end. Hand me the divorce papers so I can sign them please"

Calum got up form his seat and went over to retrieve the papers. He handed them to me and gave me a pen.

"You're not wearing you wedding ring."

"Well yeah, I left it on the kitchen counter. As you can see we won't be married for long anymore."

"But I want you to keep it"

"Why! Why would I keep it if all it would bring me are bad memories. Besides that was you're moms ring and she told you to give it to the person you love and that isn't me."

I signed the papers and handed them to him. I went upstairs and grabbed my packed suitcases and headed towards the door but before I left I looked back.

Calum was now by the kitchen holding the ring and observing it.

"Hope you make Nicole happy. Don't let her go." That was the last thing I said before I left.
