Ashley

I kind of like him. I kind of want to be his wife the small gestures he showed me makes me feel like he actually cares about me like how he makes me breakfast the first morning I was there and the day after or when he hold me and let me cry telling me everything will be okay or when he let me wear his clothes. He told his mother I am his wife and she better accepts it. I was thinking he was going to accept me and I would try to accept him. With the failing relationship I have I thought this was a chance at maybe finding love again. I was so stupid to think that he would choose a homeless poor girl like me.

Nora wins again.

"Let me get the first aid kit" Lisa said after she saw that the water that was running on the cut making the bleeding slows down. I nodd.

She hurried into the bathroom and emerge with the first aid kit. "You could have cut off your finger" she cursed at me. It was a really deep cut which I didn't feel until the damage was done. Lisa use a gaze to clean the area with peroxide to kill any germs and bacteria then she use a clean gauze and adhesive tape to cover the wound.

"All done" she said "Ashley I am sorry he didn't choose you."

It hurts so bad. Joel choose Brianna , Nathan choose Nora and even William choose death,. And no one chooses to stay with me not even my own. Am I really that at fault.

"Thanks" I whispered admiring the bandage.

"Lisa I am hungry. Where is the sandwich?" Matt said pulling on his sister arm. I tried to hide my bandage but it was too late. His eyes widen "Aunty what happened?."

"The knife cuts me." I explained.

He stand examining the bandage then he tear is eyes away "that's one big cut. Next time be careful yea?"

"I will" I smiled.

"Here go eat" Lisa said giving him the sandwich and an orange juice.

"Thank you" he smiled taking his lunch and disappeared.

That little boy makes me so happy.

I will have to go to Nathan home and take my things. I don't know where I will stay as yet but I will figured soon. I will have to leave now since Nathan is at his office and get my things before he gets home. I have to avoid him at all cost. I can't ask for explanation when I have no space in his life.

"Lisa I have to go. I'm going to get my stuff."

"You want me to come?" She asked looking worried.

"No" I shook my head. "I will be fine." I can't take her to his house, I'm not even sure if he like strangers in his house.

"Okay. But where will you stay?" I stayed silent because I don't know. I'm twenty seven and I absolutely have no life.

"Look you can always stay here besides Matt would love that a lot."

"Thanks" I loved this girl so much. She is such a kind girl with a kind heart and I hope she finds the happiness she deserved. "I will go."

I bid my goodbye to Matt and as usual he didn't want me to go. I have to pinky promise that I will visit him again.

When I entered the house there was no life which means no one was at the house I breathe a sign of relief. As I walk to go up the stairs I admired the beautiful photographs that I haven't notice before. The one with the butterfly emerging from the cocoon was the one I admire most. I wonder how the photographer got this picture he must have watched over that cocoon night and day. The title is 'The Birth of the Butterfly'. I continued up the stairs to the room which I stayed. I opened the big wooden door and the smells of strawberry fills the room. I didn't plug in the air freshener so who did? I realized that someone else must have been here. I quickly took my suitcase and pull it down the hall fast. I am so glad that I didn't unpack.
