My back hurts. So does my neck but, mostly just my back. I sit up and realize where I am. Stone walls surround me. Below me is wooden floors and a barred door sits in the front of my cell.

We left Mensfield the day after we arrived. We traveled to the Solar Kingdom.Gail and I were placed in cells, while Ian and Aidan went to go prepare for the wedding.

I wonder how I'm going to get that scepter. I saw Aidan put it in his sword's sheath. Someone would need to get close enough to slowly take it out. First, I need to get out of the cell. I can get close to Aidan when I have to dance with him at the wedding. That would be after Ian and I are married. When I try thinking of other ways to snatch the scepter, someone comes to my cell.

"We need to talk," Ian says. A guard stands off to the side of him.

"I have nothing to say to you", I spit at him. I turn my entire body away from him.

"King Aidan wants us to write our vows. He wants to make sure the people believe we're in love. I already have mine written. Maybe you can use it to write yours." He drops a piece of paper in the cell. I pick it up out of my own curiosity. It reads:

In the night I watch you

Alone all by yourself

My only thought to help too

One is less than two

Not everyone is your friend

You can only trust yourself

Or you can learn to trust me

Usually, you pick yourself

Right when you need someone the most

Still feeling lonely

Inside your cell

Dealing with your emotions that beg to come out

Emotions are meant to be felt not shut out.

"What is this suppose to mean? This is not a vow."

"Just look at it to write your vows."

I look at it more closely. I look at the lines to see each line has capital in the beginning. I look down the entire poem. IMONYOURSIDE. I'm on your side. I look up at Ian. His face looks apologetic. He hands me a piece of paper and pencil. After I give the note back to him. He reads it and smiles. I didn't even write in a secret code. It read:

Really?

Why should I trust you?

He starts writing and then hands me the paper. It says:

It glistens in the night

Like the shining moon

Or like it's reflection in the sea

Very bright in the sun

Elegant, graceful, and beautiful

Yet can be hard as stone

Only love can shed it away

Ugliness is in the eye of the beholder.

I took the first letter of each line. ILOVEYOU. I love you. He just had to write it has a poem. I wrote on the paper and gave it back to him. He reads it and just keeps smiling. This time I wrote:

I love you too.

He gives me back the paper after writing on it. This time it isn't in code:
