Hi I'm Scarlet (well Scar for short) Marie Curtis. I live with my three older brothers Darry Curtis, Ponyboy Curtis, and Sodapop Curtis.

Soda and me are best friends. He likes to give me piggy back rides and call me princess.

Ponyboy helps me with my homework since he is so smart.

And Darry can be nice but he can also be a meany when he wants to like when I make a bad grade.

I am six years old and I am in 1st grade. I like to read, draw, sing, play, and smile. I want to make everyone happy.

Especially since me and my brother's parents died. Momma and Daddy would love to see me smile. Daddy used to say I had the prettiest smile and to always use it, and I still do for him.

I am very sensitive about my parents. They meant the world to me, and now they're gone.

My brothers watch out for me, and this story tells you about my life!

So, this is the first chapter. Sorry it took a long time to write it, but I hope you liked it. Remember that Scar is only 6 years old, so she might use words like: meany and etc... I think you're going to fall in love with the adorable Scar Curtis because when I start writing about her you'll find her amazing!
