The Fight

I looked at Johnny and said, "What are you talking about?"

Two-bit turned his head and said, "Dally said that he saw you with another guy at The Dingo today, and you hugged him."

I said, "That is so not...wait today at The Dingo?" Two-bit nodded his head and I fell on the couch and said, "No! He saw me with Clayton."

Soda said, "Clayton?" I said, "Yeah, remember when I was six, and I met him at the DX working?" Soda said, "Oh, you saw Clayton today that's cool."

I said, "Not in this situation. I got to go talk to Dally." I stood up and walked out the door.

I went to Bucks and opened the door. I didn't even knock that's how scared I was.

I went around the whole place trying to find Dally. I went to a small corner, so none of the drunk guys would see me, and I spotted him kissing another girl.

When they were done, he smiled and said three simple words, "I love you." She said it right back to him.

My eyes started getting watery, but I just blinked them away. I ran out of there as soon as I could. I could not believe he did that.

I got to my house and slammed the door behind me. Everyone looked at me and Darry said, "How'd it go."

I said, "Fine just fine." Soda grabbed my arms and looked in my eyes and said, "She's lying I can tell."

I released my arms from his grip and ran to my room. It's a little embarrassing to have the gang look at you when your going through something that they wouldn't understand.

I laid down in my bed and thought about all that has happened since yesterday.

Suddenly, there was a knock on my door. I said, "What?" The person said, "It's Soda.

Will you open the door please?" I opened the door only because it was him.

When he walked in, everyone followed. I said, "Guys, I only want to talk to Soda."

Darry said, "But we're concerned." I said, "Well, I'm sure Soda will tell you everything when I'm done."

Pony said, "Ok guys c'mon, let's give them space." Pony got everyone out of my room, locked the door, and said, "Ok well, your going to tell me to whether you like it or not."

I smiled and said, "Well, I went to Bucks knowing Dally would be there, and I saw him kissing another girl."

Soda looked mad and Pony looked sympathetic. Soda said, "I'm gonna kill him."

Pony hugged me and said, "I am so sorry that happened." I shook my head and said, "No, that's not the worst part."

I took a deep breath and said, "He told her that he loved her. Right in front of me."

Soda got up, grabbed a baseball bat, and said, "Ohhhh He's so dead." He started walking downstairs, but I stopped him.

I said, "Soda, calm down." The gang looked at him like he was crazy. He said, "No, I will calm down after I pound his head in for what he did."

Darry said, "What did he do?" Pony came downstairs and said, "He kissed another girl and told her he loved her right in front of Scar."

I looked down at the ground. Darry said, "Scar." I looked up at him. He said, "Come here."

I said, "No, I don't need anyone's help. I said I would handle this and I will." Soda opened the front door and left.

I prayed hard that Dally knew how to run fast because if he didn't he was a goner.

I sat on the living room floor watching Mickey with Two-bit while everyone else was whispering to each other.

I ignored them though and continued watching. Soda opened the door and in his hands he held a bloody Dally.

I laughed and hugged Soda. I said, "I love you, Soda." He hugged me back and said, "You too."

Dally's lip was busted, he had many ribs cracked and his hands were bloody. I backed away from Dally.

He said, "What no hug for me?" I said, "If you want a hug why don't you just find your girlfriend."

He said, "Uh...I'm looking at her." I said, "Your staring at your ex girl."

He sighed and said, "Ok, why did Soda almost kill me? And why are all of a sudden your mad at me?

I should be mad at you for cheating on me." I said, "Oh I'm the cheater? Well, news flash that was an old friend I haven't seen since I was six, and you accuse me of cheating.

Than, you have to go to Bucks and kiss someone way different than me and tell her you love her.

I can't believe you think I am so cold hearted I would do that, but guess what I ain't you."

He bawled his hands up in a fist, but Soda grabbed his fist and asked, "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Dally let go and started punching Soda to the ground. That's it, I finally have had enough!

I kicked his ribs and started punching and kicking him in spots that are not lovely.

Two-bit and Steve got me off Dally. Darry said, "Ok, enough fighting! We're supposed to be a gang and not fight with each other.

Dally apologize to Scar." Dally looked at me and said, "I'm sorry your family members are idiots."

I slapped him to the ground and said, "And I'm sorry no one cares about you."

He stood up, and for a minute I swore I thought I saw his stone cold face turn soft.

He turned away and before he walked out he said, "Scar, I hate you," He walked out, and never came back.

I fell on the couch and said, "Ughhh. I hate my life, I mean why is it so complicated?"

Steve said, "Maybe that's because you make it." I glared at him and said, "Real funny."

Soda said, "Well princess, now the decision is up to you. Do you still want to be with him or not?"

I said, "Ugh, I don't know." I thought for a minute and said, "No, I want to have a break and just be single for a while."

He said, "Ok, that's fine with me." I looked over at him, smiled, and laughed.
