⭐Chapter 1⭐

Natsu's POV

Dear Natsu & Happy,

I am taking it upon myself to move away, I promise to be back after 2 years time. However, until then, I must set off on my own for this task ahead of me. I'm sure everybody at the guild will be surprised, that's why I am relying on you to tell them because I sadly don't have the courage to... Don't worry about me, even if you can't see me, I will always be in your hearts. I will long for the day of my return, I am sure that these 2 years will be over as soon as we know it, hopefully. The purpose for my disappearance shall remain under lock and key but what I can tell you is that the mission I have to complete is of great importance to me!

"She's gone?! No! I won't let this happen! Lucy!" Tears ran down my face as I ran as fast as my legs could carry me over to the guild. "Lucy is gone!" I shouted at the top of my dragon lungs. Everybody was in a state of shock and almost and instant, every member in the Fairy Tail guild set out on a search party in order to find their one true happiness once again.

Lucy's POV

It was so hard not being able to tell my friends the truth. but, was has been done is done and the whole reason for me undergoing this mission is to eventually become stronger and strive towards using more powerful magic so that I don't have to rely on my spirits to protect me every time I screw up or having Natsu save me every damn time since I'm too weak to do as much as protecting myself from a weak enemy!

I sighed and wondered where to start my journey... That's it! Tenrou island! That would be a great place to start my journey, afterall, master Mavis lived on that island for practically all her life!

Coincidentally, I set sail to Tenrou island and from there, headed to Mavis' grave stone. As I suspected, I could feel her magic power surge through my veins... I slowly sat down on the sand beach (cross legged) and channeled all of my energy, exactly how Capricorn taught me. I chanted the correct words and I could hear Master Mavis: "Daughter Lucy, I suspect that you have heard about the invitation from the dragons back in the dragon realm?"
"Letter from the d-dragon realm?!" I asked with a hint of nervousness in my voice.
"The dragons will explain, it seems that you haven't been told. Go through the portal... Your destiny awaits young one"
That's funny coming from the Master who is most definitely smaller than me...
I suddenly saw a light shine from before me, it expanded to create a circle of illuminating colours. Beautiful.

Finally, 6 keys dropped from the sky. Each key had a dragon crest on it, Couldn't help but notice the elements... Fire, Iron, Wind, Dark, Light & stars... Igneel, Metalicana, Grandeeney, Skiadrum, Weisslogia and Celestia. The words escaped from my mouth with my knowledge, very strange indeed.

Mavis' magical energy slowly faded and I found myself already walking towards the bright portal.

"Greetings, celestial wizard Lucy" Igneel grinned, showing his resemblance to Natsu

"How are you?" Grandeeney asked

Skiadrum/Weisslogia: "We're glad that you were able to accompany us!" Skiadrum and Weisslogia bellowed at the same time, it was clear that these two were the parents of Rogue and Sting.

"How is Gajeel getting on nowadays?" Metalicana laughed

"Wow" Is all I could say...

-Time skip 1 year into the future-

Natsu's POV

Ever since Lucy left, one year ago, nobody at the guild has been themselves. Erza no longer eats her strawberry cake, Cana has stopped drinking, Gray doesn't strip off anymore and everybody is miserable. Without Lucy around, the guild is meaningless...

Countless times we've all shed tears and we will long await for the time that our comrade returns!
