After 2 months of behaving according to his strict rules, Zeref had finally given me the privilege of living in his castle. I had become so obedient, a blank slate almost as if I was a stranger to my own self.
A voice snapped me out of my disturbing thoughts; "Lucy dear could you pass the cutlery?" Zeref asked, I nodded but felt a pang of annoyance and dug the meat knife into the black silk tablecloth. I instantly arose from my chair and Zeref lunged to slap me. "Do you not know of your table manners girl?!" He shouted as I cowered away, beginning my run to my room.
I curled up onto my bed and bust into tears, this is not where I was truly meant to be...
Natsu's POV
"THAT BASTARD! I WILL KILL HIM WITH MY BARE HANDS IF I HAVE TO!" I yelled, squishing the letter up into a ball and flaming it up in my hand. But Zeref is my father? But wait- what ? I can't love Lucy... SHE IS MY SISTER!
Then, Erza popped her head through the door of my bedroom, "hey Natsu have you seen- Oh my, why are you crying?!" She questioned and it just hit me that I hadn't even recalled crying. I looked into a mirror screwed onto a wall above a small wooden desk and looked over my red area over my eye followed by a stream of tears.
"I CAN'T LOVE LUCY!" All the rage overcame me and I took a hit towards the glass, causing it to create a disastrous mess of not just the floor but my knuckles with shards of the fragile substance stuck inside of my hand mixed with a crimson red which was of course my blood.
In a failed attempt to hit the remains of the glass, Erza ended up dragging me away as I swore profusely. I'm just wasting even more time struggling, I need to find Luce. She's my girlfr-
Sister... She's my sister now.
NO! IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!
"Calm down Natsu!" The red head blared in my ear, certainly rupturing my ear drums. The whole time it turns out Erza heard the letter I read out and I had just thought she came in, "Go to her Natsu, i'll bring the team and alert the guild" Erza declared and set off to tell the others.
I inhaled shallowly, my shaky breath being apparent before clutching my shirt that lie over my heart and ran towards the balcony, jumping up and allowing Happy to catch me as his instincts kicked in meaning I was in danger (falling 30 stories off a balcony).
The thought of falling was always good, without Luce again I would be hopeless, i'd be a blank slate. She's like my drug, she keeps me alive and i'm an addict.

I haven't updated in forever, I know, I know this chapter is super short but I broke up from school now and you should expect a lot of updates! I had a lot of stuff going on after the saddening news of Hikari and even ended up having a special someone but turns out he was everything but special and now I have a new boyfriend who is the polar opposite of my ex, really caring and super kind. I could literally give 100+ reasons to why he is so amazing but you probably dont want to hear about that... Anyway do expect TONS of updates as I have lacked for agessssss!
