⭐Chapter 6⭐

-Time skip the first day of the GMG-

No-one's POV

"Hello! Welcome to the first day of the annual Grand Magic Games!!!"

The crowd cheered loudly as the pumpkin headed man, Mato, waved his arms in the air.

"Has anybody seen Lucy?" Erza yelled over the loud cheers of the crowd

"Nope, I haven't seen her ever since yesterday" Natsu commented

"She told us that she was going to train whilst she could but we didn't know that meant during the games too!" Gray and Happy said

-Flashback to yesterday night-

Lucy's POV

Okay, everything is going perfectly! Train all night and then nap during the morning and then wake up in time for the games or I will have to make a scene... again!!!

Lucy's POV

Chikushō, chikushō, CHIKUSHŌ! I slept in! How could this happen today?! Everone is probably worried sick! And if I'm called to fight first then, I'll have to make a scene (ughhhhhhh, not again!!!)

I rushed outside with my hair half a mess and half not. I put on my cape, that I now wear too often, on so that nobody could find out that I was late! Then, to my surprise nobody was outside or a matter of fact around... like anywhere!!! Anyway, enough babbling to myself about how deserted it is around... I need to go, NOW!

I ran as fast as I could to the location in which the games were being held at and I already heard the cannons going of. Uh oh.

"Without further or do, let's start our first battle!" a voice echoed

"WHOOO!!! GO FAIRY TAIL!!!" the voices of many people cheered

"I'm in trouble" I muttered under my breath

"First up we have Sting from Sabertooth and..."

I was finally at the games as the pumpkin called my name out and of course I had to make my 'dramatic entrance' it reminded me of the day I came back from my training... wait! Sting?! But he's way stronger than m- oh yeah, new powers......" *facepalm*

"Lucy's here!!!" I could hear Natsu point out as I slowly made my way into the arena.

I felt really encouraged when the guild (which I have known and been apart of for this long) cheers me on! It always brings a smile to my face.

I glanced up from under my hood with a smirk; whilst looking over at the overly confident 3rd generation dragon slayer... what a snob.

"I'll wipe that grin right off your face, Heartfilia" Sting said just a lot more enthusiastically than I would like to admit.

"Good luck with that" I laughed

"LET'S GO!" Pumkin said

We began our fight and I swung my cape off of my shoulders to reveal my purple and white outfit that had the fairy tail emblem ever so carefully embodied onto it.

"I'm all fired up!"
