⭐Chapter 19⭐

Lucy's POV

It was a long voyage back to Zeref but in the end, it would all be worth it. No more pain or destruction and all I needed to do was simply use the embroided markings on my arm. It was scary how much magical energy I had now and the fact I had ditched my celestial spirits didn't exactly make the matter any better at all. I had climbed hills, walked through lakes and even soared through skies using my new powers but the thing I worried about most was the book of END. Something just wasn't correct - especially when I saw Natsu a long time back.

Speaking of Natsu, he must once again be worried sick but, once I defeat Zeref I can finally live my normal life once again. That's all I've wanted for the past few years now. I want the true gifts In life like a nice Husband, the dream wedding, children and even just memories... Not this because this right here is not what I want at all!

I hadn't realised until after my feet had stopped moving that I was at the dreaded castle again. This time I was finally going to beat him and not be restrained with more rules than there are people that walk the whole earth because that, was utter hell. Bare in mind, I've been to Hell during my training with Igneel.

My Father came out the front doors to "Welcome me home", of course that wasn't my real intention. Without saying a word, I started walking towards him and he smirked at me. It reminded me of Natsu....

Natsu's POV

There was only one place that Luce could possibly be and that was Father's house, nor does it help when his castle is further more than a teleport away. Because for one, teleporting doesn't even exist yet even though portals do and even if it did, travelling in other means I guess is much more satisfying.

happy began flying and caught my collar, "We need to get Luce!" Happy exclaimed and from the height, I could see Gray telling the other guild members about Lucy. Everyone was going to get her back fully this time. I love Lucy and I always have done so she needs help right now! She really doesn't know who shes up against at all.

Lucy's POV

I flipped in the air and called Igneels power but to my surprise, it was very ineffective and i just found myself getting inflicted damage from Zeref. There was only one thing that could defeat him and I was tying to use it as a final blow at least. I quickly unwrapped my arm as Zeref laughed, "You've made one big mistake Missy" He stated, smiling and laughing away to himself. As I began feeling weaker than before, I chanted the words needed to unleash my weapon, the demon

But then, just when I thought the powers would overflow my body, they didn't and a long continuous silence began. A black shadow then startled me, it stood in front of me like a ghost that was possessing me of all people.

The black shadow turned into a creature - red scales reflecting an inferno of red, damaged wings that outstretched far into the air, fangs bearing and... a scarf?

It couldn't be. I looked to the front of the creature to see nobody else but Natsu in a new dragon form.

In my mind, I had pieced it all together.

The blood on the E.N.D book.
Markings on my arm.
Summoning my power.
Natsu.
Or rather,
Etherious Natsu Dragneel.

I was dumbfounded as I stood there but Zeref didn't have the same confused expression as me, he had a smirk on his face that I wanted to hit off.

"You look like fun" The E.N.D demon had stated and stared right at me, licking his lips. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I backed away.

From there, I had realised my very big mistake...
