Hello my readers! Just before I start, I would
like to let you all know that this is going to be my second to last chapter as this book has been going for nearly 3 years now *sweat drop*. But I would like to give a special thanks to everyone that has supported me through the making of this book and has pushed me on and encouraged me to keep on going with it.

And I would also like to say that though we're not on great terms any longer, I would love to dedicate and thank animelover500xoxo for being a great fundamental best friend from the day I started this fanfiction. She was always the one who gave me great ideas and reminded me that I left this book for such a long time. So I would like to give a massive thank you to her and for every single memory that we shared together - I will cherish them all.

So with that, I hope you all enjoy this chapter!

Lucy's POV

After all of the commotion and chaos, the Grand Magic Games were called off and were to take place later within the year; speaking of time, a lot of it has passed since my final battle with Zeref and despite my still-healing cuts and bruises, I couldn't be more painless and free.

I was relieved as my powers were finally back to normal - no more dragon slayer magic rested within me and I could call all of my spirits just like average, normal Lucy Heartfilia. I didn't need so much power in the end as my own will power and friends saved my life, that I am very thankful for. But, just as everything was getting better, I couldn't run away from Natsu Dragneel.

No matter how many healing spells could be casted on me by porlyusica, it could never fix the relations between me and Natsu.

I sighed heavily as Porlyusica treated the cut on my arm, "If you sigh one more time child, I may have to hit you with my broom!" she warned, glaring daggers at me. My eyes widened as I put my hands up in a 'I surrender' motion. I laid back down, "Could there be a way to tell if someone is really a sibling?" I questioned and looked over to the pink haired woman.

"Of course, what do you think DNA tests do?" She looked over at me as if I was stupid and I sweat-dropped once again.

She was the one to sigh this time, "could this possibly be about you and Natsu?"

"Please, I just want to know"

The medic sighed, facing the wall, as I sat there with a confused expression plastered upon my face.

"When I lived in Edolas I met Igneel, he was a tall and broad man with fiery red hair, a fiery passion and a heart of gold - the perfect man. Despite being the human counterpart of the human world dragon (Like me), he still shared the same memories and feelings with the human world Igneel (the dragon version of himself). After meeting his wife, He had a son called Natsu, who he loved dearly. Unfortunately as a baby, Igneel had sent him to the human world as Edolas was far too dangerous for a young boy like him and before long he met the dragon Igneel before coming to Fairy Tail"

I parted my lips to speak but nothing had escaped my mouth, I was truly astonished by all of her words, I had a lot of questions but Natsu was actually from Edolas and Igneel was his Father - not just a step-Father.

She turned around to face me, "As for you, Lucy Heartfilia, Jude Heartfilia and Layla Heartfilia had met each other at the merchant guild 'Love & Lucky'. They fell in love, calling their child Lucy due to the missing 'K' in the guild sign. And thus, you were born".

I instantly knew what she was talking about and a tear fell down my face as I held my hand over my mouth, I was at a loss of words as the news had been processed in my head. Me and Natsu weren't related! We could be together!

Only the future could foretell what was to happen next...

Returning back to the hall of the guild, I took a seat at Mira's bar and we have a general chat about life. It was definitely more wholesome than any other talk that we've had but nonetheless, it was stopped after the abrupt tapping of the mic coming from the direction of the stage.

Upon the oak wood stage was a cool-looking Gajeel with his guitar in hand. "Ladies and gentlemen" he announced, "before I start, a word from the knucklehead Natsu".

From the right of the stage came Natsu, "who are you calling a knucklehead" he yelled before proceeding. I laughed in response to his anger towards the Iron dragon slayer - then as everyone stared up in awe, I had realised what his words after really meant.

"Over the past years, the day that I came across Lucy with her hopeful attitude and kindness to offer me and Happy a meal... That was the best day of my life, every-time we go on a mission or I sneak into her home it brings me joy seeing her smile and laugh, even if it results in her kicking me out the window." The guild laughed, "but today, stood up here, I have something very important that I would like to say..."

Natsu dropped down off the stage and walked towards me whilst I was seated at the bar and with a delightful Happy by his side, he took the velvet blue box from the cat's hand and he began to drop onto his knee as the rest of my fellow guild mates watched with tears forming in their eyes.

I hadn't realised that I was crying until I watched as a teardrop fell from my face and made a spot on the floor, Natsu looked up at me with hopeful eyes and with his usual toothy grin, "Luce, will you marry me?"

I rubbed my eyes to stop the tears, "of course I will you idiot!" I exclaimed, hugging him tightly as he picked me up and spun in a circle with me still in his arms. Everyone roared in celebration and the beer was certainly out in no time as Gajeel began his strange songs and the master looked up from the balcony, with Mavis of course who was happy to drink in celebration.

Above all the ruckus, I whispered in Natsu's ear, "don't worry, we're not actually related" I smiled as he hugged me back even harder.
