⭐Chapter 11⭐

Natsu's POV

My head... hurts... so bad! Lucy is way too strong now...

Where even am I? I sit up from my lying position and look around. This is Lucy's room, WHY AM I IN HERE?!

Then I hear somebody open the door, automatically, I turn my head to face the door and to my surprise I see Lucy standing there. She was holding a tray of assorted goods: chocolate, hot chocolate, biscuits and MEDICINE?! No way in Hell am I having medicine!!!

Lucy's POV

"JUST HAVE THE PARACETAMOL ALREADY! IT WILL STOP THE PAIN IN YOUR HEAD FROM WHERE I HIT YOU ACCIDENTALLY!!!"

He opened his mouth to oblige, I quickly put the tablets into his mouth along with some water I found in my drawer.

I laughed as he death glared me, which I retaliated back.

Finally, I kissed his forehead and picked up the tray.

Then, I went down stairs and noticed Erza reading a newspaper whilst casually eating a strawberry cake. Gray on the other hand was sat down at the seat of the piano doing absolutely nothing. He noticed my glance at the piano and asked me if I wanted to have a go. I declined but instead, asked if he wanted a lesson on how to play. "Sure!" he replied quickly.

I sat next to him on the stool and played to first part for him to copy

I was originally taught this piece by my Mother, it actually happened to be the first song that I even learnt. When my Mother played it, before I played the piano, I was so mesmerized by the melody that I asked her to teach me. "I want to play the happy tune too!" I sung happily to her.

Gray copied the tune and bit by bit. He is an extremely fast learner, I have to admit; not as fast as me though!

But, he stopped suddenly. The words that came out if his mouth surrounded me and echoed around. Erza closed her newspaper in her hands abruptly and store at my hands, which were, of course, covered with a thick bandage.

I lowered my head and darkness covered my eyes.

"You don't need to know about... that"

The rooms occupants went silent and I left to go upstairs. That could have gone better... Upon reaching the top if the stairs, I saw Natsu through the small gap in my door. I was about to go elsewhere but my curiosity got the best of me (as always) I walked through my door after opening up the gap in the door.

Natsu was sat in my desk chair reading something. He sensed my presence and hid the book quickly. These are the times when I am glad that I have my powers, I closed my eyes for a split second. The reason for this you ask? Well, I have the power of clairvoyance, healing type magic that can enable me to usually see injuries and bullets that have entered the body. Aside from the medical side of things, I can also spot items. In this situation...

MY DRAGON SLAYER BOOK?!?
I forcefully opened up the drawer next to Natsu and took the book. How could I have been so careless to just leave this out?!?

This book contains all the dragon slayer secrets and was the book I learnt most of my powers from! And here Natsu Dragneel is, poking his nose into it!!!

Desperate times cause for desperate measures;
So they say... I hate doing this but there is no choice. Knocking him out would be harsh so I'll just erase his memory!

Nobody is around to see.

I took off the bandages from my arms to reveal the very cursive tattoos which I see as a curse, others see it as a gift. What they don't know is that this "gift" is actually the demon's seal...

The demon END is sealed in my arm.

I'm stopped unwrapping my arm and went to the other arm, that was way too close for comfort! I nearly unwrapped the wrong arm and doing so would release the side of me nobody will ever see.

The pattern on my other arm all represent different elements: all the elements I learnt from the dragons. I need the healing element in this case.

I chanted.

Healing power,
Give me strength. The will to stand, to overcome and to overpower. I command you to stand by me and rise me in the times I fall...
Grandeeney! Give me your power!

Even though this seemed to take a long time, to a normal mage such as Natsu: it takes a second.

Just then, all memory of the book was erased and I placed the important book into my inventory. I sworn to secrecy for this book, I will not let anybody even bat an eye at it!

Natsu diverted his eyes from me and said the line that made me relieved.

"What was I doing again?"

I giggled in reply and walked out of the room once again.

Natsu's POV

If I wasn't a dragon slayer, I would have forgotten about that book for definite. A very good job...

For the first time, Lucy Heartfilia's power has seized to overcome me.

However, the thing that really gets my head spinning in circles is what that strange tattoo on her arm meant...

Not the element pattern, the other one...

The Demon's mark...
