Calum

I watched her as she slept, her face extremely peaceful. She wasn't in pain anymore and it gave me joy seeing her the best she was despite her being unable to walk and being unable to see. She sighed silently in her sleep and brought her arms tighter around herself.

Why didn't she tell me the whole thing with the hybrid sooner?

--

"Calum?" She asked as the nurses lifted her into the wheelchair.

"I'm still here, don't worry," I smiled and she reached for my hand as the nurses stepped away. I smiled and took a hold of it. She had been here for a week now, little Luna was home with Ruben.

I pushed her out the room and to the reception where I signed Alyx out of the hospital. Her hands were tightly gripped on the handles of the wheelchair as I pushed her along the side walk.

"I think wheelchairs need better suspension," She laughed a little.

"It's a shame that I'd burn the wheels if I ran," I replied and she pulled the break on the side of the wheelchair.

"Put me on the floor for a second," She whispered, and I picked her up and placed her on the floor. She reached out blindly and grabbed the wheelchair, she fumbled with the wheelchair for about five minutes until it folded in on itself. She grabbed it, her arms shaking. "Now you can run, I'll carry the wheelchair and you just run with me in your arms."

--

"Ruben, we're home!" I yelled throughout the house. I walked into the living room to see Ruben asleep with Luna in his arms. I smiled.

"Why are you being silent?" Alyx whispered.

"Ruben's holding Luna in his arms asleep on the couch."

Alyx

Two weeks later and I was moving around the house a bit easier. We had a lift for the stairs so getting up there was easy. I managed to somehow get to the spare room we had where Ruben had all his training gear. The nurse had told me I could stand up for a limited amount of time, so let's try that theory out. I stood up, I think, and reached up where I remembered Ruben's bar was. I grabbed it just as I felt myself falling.

I lifted myself up, my arms aching. Last time I did training like this, I was in Italy.

A few hours later and I had outdone what I normally did and my arms gave out. I hit the floor, groaning in pain. I laid there for what felt like forever until I reached out and found the wall. I reached up looking for something to grab onto and pull myself up on, nothing. I sighed.

"Calum!" I yelled, and two seconds later I was being lifted up and I was sat down in the wheelchair. He ruffled my hair which I responded with my middle finger. He laughed and pushed me out of the room.

Eric was coming around today, to check if there were any signs of my senses coming back.

"Do you want to shower?" He asked, and I nodded. He lifted me up and carried me to the bathroom.

I was distraught that I couldn't do anything for myself anymore. I couldn't walk to go the toilet, I couldn't see my family, I couldn't do anything.

He undressed me as if I was Luna and placed me in a warm bath.

--

"Alyx, can I try something?" Eric asked after a month of therapy with him, I nodded and he took my hand. His hand went limp and the familliar feeling of being dragged backwards along with my concious entered me. My world was still black.

"Well, I can locate your werewolf gene, it's runied at the moment but slowly repairing itself." A voice echoed. "I can try something, but it won't make things worse, so by doing this there could be minimal or major changes."

"Try it,"

--

Eric's possessed body regained it's posture by the fact his hand was tightly on mine again.

"Okay try and open your eyes," He whispered, and I tried, I tried for a solid five minutes. Nothing. Eric sighed. "I'm sorry,"

Calum must have walked in because Eric's aura vanished. He helped me lay down in bed and seconds later he was cuddled into me.

"I love you, you know that, right?"

"Of course I know that silly, I love you too," I pressed my hand to his face, running my thumb over one of his dimples.

"I was thinking maybe we get married in August, when the leaves are red and falling, it gives you time to get your dress, and to invite people." He whispered.

"Four months?" I whispered, and then realised, I wouldn't be able to see.

"Yeah, we could have it whatever colours you imagine," He whispered.

"I wouldn't be able to see you, or walk down the aisle." I croaked, feeling the lump in the back of my throat. He sighed silently, and pulled me close.

"We'll work something out, I promise."
