3rd Person

It had been a while since she had taken his last name. It had been silent till today. The wind dragged through the branches on the trees outside as the rain hammered on the windows.

Alyx flinched every time the lights flickered due to the storm outside. She didn't have a good feeling in her gut about it.

Her phone was ringing from upstairs. She climbed the stairs and brought the phone to her ear.

"Hello?" She asked. The caller ID wasn't showing on her screen.

"Alyx..." Callum breathed down the phone. Her heart seemed to calm down hearing his voice.

"Callum." She smiled. "How's work?"

"We don't have time." He rushed out. "You need to get out the house and make your way to the group house. Someone is after you."

"I'll leave now, don't you worry." Her heart started hammering against her insides. She could hear the blood rush through her body. That's when the lights went out.

"Okay, text me when you-" He got cut off by a loud banging. The phone was left on the floor as her attacker grabbed her from behind.

"I have you now princess." The voice seethed in her ear.

"I'm on my way Alyx. Don't worry." Callum panicked through the phone, her sensitive ears picking up the sound.

"Don't worry about me." Alyx smirked to herself. She had been training recently with Ruben and Luna. She turned to her attacker and glared darkly. "You've messed with the wrong woman, demon."

When Callum got to the house Luna was slumped down a wall breathing heavily.

"Are you okay?" Callum asked concerned about his daughter.

"I'm fine, no injuries just tired." Luna smiled. "Ruben is upstairs with mum."

Callum nodded and walked upstairs. He made it to the spare room that was the training room still to see blood everywhere and a wolf on the floor. Blood matting the fur.

"We got here just before you." Ruben turned to look towards Callum. "Due to her injuries she keeps changing forms, she's so tired."

"I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you." Callum whispered as he knelt next to his wife.

Alyx's form started moving again and she changed to her human form.

"I'm okay." She whispered a small smile on her face. "But it looks like we're not going to live peacefully after all. Looks like someone is after us again. But not just us this time. It's everyone."

"Great..." Callum muttered.

"But it will be fine Callum because the demon mentioned before I killed him..." Alyx breathed. "We're the most feared group out there."

"But look at you!" He tried arguing back. Alyx sat up smirking.

"I'm fine." Her lips curled up into a smile. "I have somewhere I need to be, shout if you need me to be here."

"Where are you going?"

"Don't worry." She stood up and pulled him up with her as she connected their lips briefly. "I'm just discussing a few things with a business partner."

With that she was gone, no one was going to threaten her massive family again. She had been through so much that she had enough.

If they wanted her family they would have to go through her first. That was going to be difficult.

Mercy appeared beside her as they walked into the depths of hell.

Alyx's eyes turned black as her sword materialised into her hand.

"You ready Mercy?" Alyx asked.

"Lets teach hell not to mess with our family."
