I smiled at Luke. Everyone but Calum knew I could walk for short periods of time, we were hidden at the moment and then the music started playing. Luke linked his arm with mine and we walked out of our hiding place and then headed down the aisle.

Calum's face lit up as we walked down the aisle. Tears sprung to his eyes and I smiled and as the song ended Luke handed me off to Calum.

We went through the vows and the objections which took twenty minutes, and I could feel my heart racing at one million miles per hour. I felt his hand slip into mine as he slipped the ring onto my finger slowly, I did the same to him and he grinned. Our children were smiling out the corner of my eye.

"You may now kiss the bride." The person chuckled and Calum leant down slowly to kiss me. Our families, or the minimal family I had cheered behind us and he pulled me close. I giggled pulling away and as we walked down the aisle, confetti was thrown at us. I giggled as the photographer snapped pictures of us laughing and smiling as we made our way to the car that was waiting to take us to the party afterwards.

"You look amazing today." Calum breathed. I felt the blush creep up onto my cheeks as he grinned and wrapped his arm around my shoulder as we sat in the back of the car that started to drive.

"You don't look half bad yourself." I giggled quietly and kissed his cheek, which in return made his cheeks glow a shade of red. I laughed quietly and rested my head on his shoulder.

"You really surprised me when you walked down the aisle." He chuckled. I smiled at him.

"I started gaining feeling in my legs a few months ago now, and Luke was helping me to start walking again." I laughed quietly. "I'm sorry I kept it a secret, but you know why..."

Calum nodded and wrapped his arm tighter around my shoulders and pulled me closer. I smiled closing my eyes. I enjoyed being wrapped up in Calum's arms, it made me feel protected, it made me feel wanted and most of all it just made me happy. Calum's thumb stroked my shoulder gently which sent shivers down my spine. I smiled slightly at the feeling which made Calum do it more.

We sat in a comfortable silence during the ride, except for the driver who was happily humming some song. Neither of us objected to the jolly man humming his even jollier tune. When we arrived at the party, everyone else was there. We smiled and Calum got out the car and rushed to the side I was sat on and opened the door for me and offered his hand.

I took his hand gently and he grinned at me. I smiled and get out the car with his hand linked with mine, and we walked inside the part where we were holding the party and meal. We walked to our designated seats at the long table just in front of the window overlooking a lake. I didn't have anyone to make a speech on my side, so Jayden was doing it for me since she knew me the longest out of everyone here. Calum's father and family were here all smiling towards us.

We sat down, our fingers now entwined with the others and we smiled as the lights dimmed slightly and a bunch of candles in the middle of each table were lit. Everyone smiled and then the food was brought out. Everyone smiled and dug into the food, that was until Calum's dad cleared his throat and tapped his half empty champagne glass. Everyone's attention turned to him, and Calum's face turned the brightest red I had seen it turn.
