Alyx

I looked towards the blushing Calum, his father had embarrassed him with the speech he had made about his son. I laughed at the colour of his cheeks and he squeezed my hand slightly.

"It's your turn now." He chuckled. I felt the heat rush to my cheeks at his statement. That's when Jayden stood up.

"Awe, look at her blushing already. Right I promised her I wouldn't mention any embarrassing things like in nursery she tripped over a lego block and landed face first in the sand pit or that time she fell down the toilet. So I won't mention things like that. I definitely won't mention that time where she came camping in high school with me and our friends at the time, and forgot her swimming suit. So she tried to distract us all as she pointed to a bird in the tree asking what it was as she made a run for it towards the lake, little did she know none of us had turned to look at the bird." Jayden smirked at me and I narrowed my eyes. "Alyx has been there for me my whole life, we both had our secrets of course and we weren't really meant to be friends but one day I saw her struggling with some boys who were stealing her beloved lego. I went over there and taught them a lesson so she then wouldn't leave me alone. Damn she was annoying."

The speech continued for what felt like forever.

"She's grown up so fast." Jayden let a few tears slip down her cheeks. She sat back down and I felt tears spring to my eyes as I blushed lightly. She giggled and walked over to me hugging me gently. I hugged back.

"I will kill you for mentioning those stories." I muttered quietly and she laughed. After our little hugging session, she went back to her seat.

After a while everyone had finished eating, so that meant it was dancing time.

"Can the newly wed come to the dance floor and do their dance?" Calum slid his hand into mine as we walked to the dance floor. (The song they dance to is above)

As we danced I we kept eyecontact.

"I'm so glad to be here doing this with you." He whispered. "Mrs Hood."

After the wedding, we went to pack for the honeymoon. Jayden and Michael were minding the house and the kids but if anything urgent was to happen, they were to call us immediately.

I put the wedding dress on the hanger and zipped up the case it came with and I felt two hands on my waist.

"You looked great today, but as always you look great without clothes on." Calum whispered in my ear, tracing shapes on the small of my back.

Maybe this was it for us, no more drama, no more fighting. No more worrying. After the honeymoon, we were going back to a normal life. Or at least a normal life that we could take.

Well, that's what we thought.

End
