*Finlay's POV*

The weekend at the Mikaelson's house was memorable to say the least. I had managed to A) not only have my first drink & get absolutely trashed, B) meet two of her brothers & start dating one of them, C) learn that I had far too many hormones & naughty images running through my head & D) needed Rebekah to take me clothes shopping.

Rebekah & I were back at the dorm & currently on our way to our first lecture.

"I'll meet up with you for lunch," she smiled.

"Ok. Good luck," I returned the smile.

"You too," Rebekah kissed my cheek & went on her way.

I wasn't as anxious as I thought I would be. I hoped that I would fit in & my high school nickname wouldn't make an appearance. That unfortunately was not going to be the case. I recognised a couple of people that had made my entire high school experience a total nightmare.

'Head up & just keep walking,' I chanted in my head.

I thankfully got past them without a problem. Maybe they had finally grown up. I reached the lecture hall that I would be seeing for the next four years. I took a seat in the front row just because that was my thing. It felt safer, besides it was closer to the door if I had to make a quick getaway. The room began to fill up with luckily no one I knew. I exhaled a sigh of relief. After what seemed at least ten minutes the lecture arrived.

"Morning all, I'm Thomas Warrington & I'll be your slave master for the next four years," he introduced himself.

He went through everything that the course entailed & started writing notes. I took out my lecture pad & wrote the notes down. The morning seemed to fly by & lunch time rolled round. I packed my stuff away & started to leave the room.

"Miss Roland, can I see you a moment?" the lecturer asked from behind his desk.

I walked over, "you wanted to see me."

"I take great interest in all my students & your academic grades are quite impressive. It also came to my attention that you already have extra credits towards your BA. I guess I won't see you for the entire four years then, shame really," he appeared to checking me out, "well I'll see you after lunch Finlay."

"Yes. Thank you," I had no problem leaving.

I got a sinking feeling in my gut about him. The thought that he had just openly checked me out gave me a creepy feeling. I wouldn't let that put me off. I walked towards the cafeteria knowing that seeing my best friend there would make me feel more at ease. I went in & collected my lunch, but after I spotted Rebekah my appetite suddenly vanished.

'Just ignore them maybe they'll go away,' I sneered.

"Hey Fin," Rebekah patted the seat beside her.

As I sat down placing my tray on the table the problem that I thought had been left behind renewed itself.

"Why on earth would you want to be hanging out with the freak Bek?" the voice of Sharon Mathers rang out.

I saw Rebekah turn to her, "I beg your pardon? Did you just refer to my best friend as a freak?"
