Name of Song: Just a Feeling
Type of video: Lyric Video
Who am I: Hailey
Director Ha was very different. He just refuses to shout "Action" or "Cut", choosing instead to use his own kind of hand signal. The crew on set didn't even dare to speak loudly even in between scenes, fearing they would have interrupted the filming accidentally. There wasn't a need to shout "Silence on Set" because of this Director's particular behaviour.
Start, Director Ha signals, his eyes glued to the monitor. I immediately look straight towards the Bomi and she got my cue, automatically saying her lines.
"So you're my bodyguard from now on?" She ask, peering up my hood in wonder.
I fix my cold gaze at her as she walk around me, assessing me.
"I've heard that Dad recruited a Female ninja-"
'I'm not a ninja."
"You are if I say so."
I ignore her, staring straight ahead. My posture exuding my displeasure subtly.
"I guess you're acceptable." Bomi finished her 'inspection'. "Now, ninja servant of mine. I want some ice cream!"
"That is not within my job scope." I say, flipping out a phone to call the butler.
She tries to snatch the phone from me, getting too close for comfort for my character ( Ghost ) and in a 'blink of an eye', I was at the other side of the room. Bomi had to pretend she was in extreme slow motion as I sprint to the other end of the room.
"Butler Cha, the missus would like some ice cream. Please attend to her needs." I say.
Bomi slowly land herself on the ground as though she was diving for the phone. Butler Cha was someone she feared in the movie and in this scene, she was supposed to be asleep.
Director Ha signaled 'cut' and we gather back at the monitor.
The black jacket hood help me exude a scary feeling. Playing the video in fast motion the second time we review the scene, it seem as though I disappeared to the other side of the room in just a split second. It's just a flash of black streak as Bomi fell 'normally'.
"Good job. Next scene in 5 minutes." The Director say, flipping the script idly.
At once there was a flurry of activity as some crew quickly check their phone to remind themselves of which scene is next.
"No need to look, you're on. Script." Sol Mi already had the page of the script open for me and as I quickly recollect the lines, she force me out of my jacket and jam me into the orange shirt, readjusting my hair with more hairspray and checking on my make up at the same time.
The crew were already running towards the other side of the warehouse where a green screen was prepared. This was a fighting scene.
With the way this Director directs the film, I have to say most of the stress falls on the crew. The filming is done very fast, the system he made extremely efficient; but there's no room to breathe at all, and barely enough time to adjust my mood.
I'm a killer. I'm a killer. My enemies are near. I close my eyes, getting into the mood as the wires are clipped onto me. Running feet. Director Ha must have signaled "Action" My eyes open, and I accidentally caught the eye of one of the extra. His legs gave way beneath him in that instance.
Damn it! The serious atmosphere that I built was shattered by his comical fall.
"Retake! Extras back in position." The assistant Director shout. The Director whisper in her ear and she broadcast his message as he message his forehead with a frown. "Extras, don't trip up again! Hailey, your emotion needs toning down a little. Remember, Ghost do not consider them to be her match, so tone down the seriousness. "
I give her a nod and close my eyes, adjusting my mood and thoughts. That was more of 'Luz' than 'Ghost'.
Who am I: Odile
Uploading all the demo tracks onto the email and hitting send, my heavy head just land right onto the soft pillow and I drift to sleep. I didn't even wake up until the sunlight almost cooked my butt.My laptop had fallen off the bed somehow while I was asleep... I set the slightly cracked glass bottle beside it upright and grab my laptop, replaying some of the songs I felt insecure about. Twenty. In just two days I made twenty songs. And out of all twenty songs, I'm only confident about two of them.
If this goes well... The uneasy feeling was still stirring in my heart.

From: Kwan Du
Good job. Meet me in the office now.
......................................................................Damn it! I throw my phone down and hit the showers briskly. I slap on the fake mustache and just roughly tried to make my eyebrows look a little thicker
Kwan Du's 'now' really meant 'this very second; or right now' kind of 'now'. I stuff my laptop into the laptop bag along with its charger and dash out of the house.
Leonel and Yeni were already there and so was Bae Do Hyeon, the powerhouse singer of Crysando and one of the major stars. They were in the midst of some discussion with Kwan Du when I walk in. My back automatically bent to give Bae Do Hyeon a 90 degree bow before I walk in.
"Do Hyeon, this is Elido. " Kwan Du introduce.
Do Hyeon smile politely at me. "Congratulations on your comeback." He say.
"Thank you, Senior." I bow again, before taking my seat next to Leonel.
"Where's Odile?" Do Hyeon ask.
"Odile will not be attending in person." Kwan Du say. The projector starts running and one of Kwan Du's assistant quickly dim the light. "Odile and Elido have been working out a duet album, and I think it's quite refreshing. Definitely something you both have never heard before."
My face feel very warm with embarrassment as Kwan Du explained the gist behind the duet album. It wasn't just going to be a duet. Each album is half a conversation, half a heart. And like a conversation they had topics as well. Just like a conversation, there was room for a debate, argument, discussion, and jokes.
Kwan Du began playing both albums side by side in two windows, alternating between the songs. Lastly, the cover songs of both Odile and Elido were played together.
Standing alone, the two albums were just like other regular albums, but meshed together, the cover songs fit perfectly well together, though the two songs felt as though they were trying to talk over each other by harmonizing, ending with Elido buying the ice cream for Odile.
"Wow." Do Hyeon look impressed.
"Do you both quarrel like that?" Yeni look at me.
"We do sometimes." I smile back at her.
"No one has ever tried a duet in the form of a whole album before. What if it fails?" Leonel frown.
"What do you think?"Kwan Du smile, lifting his cup of coffee to have a sip.
Wasn't he quite unsure about this plan at the start? Kwan Du is brimming with confidence now with regards to my two albums.
"If you're not careful, Leonel, these two may well overshadow you soon." Kwan Du say to him. "That's all for today then."
"Hang on, Kwan Du... you didn't just gather all of us (Crysando's singers) to listen to these two albums did you?" Do Hyeon had a look of suspicion on his face, as though that's a very possible scenario. It felt as though this two gentlemen were old friends.
"It was interesting wasn't it? If someday any of you come up with something more amazing than this, we'll have more of such gatherings." Kwan Du say. "I've got a feeling Crysando's going to be surfing high."
