Me: Hey guys..
Bob: Night, what's wrong?
Me: *wraps arms around myself* It's nothing. I'm fine.
Bob: *walks up to me and puts his hands on my shoulders* no your not. What's the matter?
Me: *sits down* Well, you know about the forest fires right?
Bob:*sits beside me* The ones that are all over Canada? Ya. Why?
Me: well, I live close to the areas the fires are in. I am not in a area that is being warned, but I am really, really close. These fires are horrible. There have never been anything this bad. They are just destroying everything. When I got outside the sun is sometimes red from smoke, and it's beams on the floor are always a dull orange. And I am scared. *starts crying quiet tears* I am scared to lose everything I have ever known. I am scared that the fire will take my home.
Bob: *hugs me gently* It's ok, it's going to be alright.
Me: But what if it's not? What if I lose everything? My books? My pets? My stuffies!?
Bob: I know your scared, but just calm down. You are going to be OK. It's not going to hurt you.
Me: But one of those fires took out a lot of fort McMurray and there are fires threating Fort Saint John and Worsley too.
I guess what I wanted to say was please pray. Pray that the fires will be stopped, and that no more will start and no more will lose there homes.
Bob: Goodbye!
