My Big Brother

Chapter 2

"Isn't that kinda... uh weird?" I ask.

Well duh it is. He's literally my brother's brother.

"No, he's just a guy looking for love!" he smirks and I chuckle. "I could talk to him?"

"Sure," I say nervously.

"Someone's nervous aww," he mocks.

I roll my eyes and walk downstairs.

All the boys are eating and I lose my appetite. I walk past the kitchen and into my mums office.

I totally just got checked out by the boys. Curse you leggings.

I go on my MacBook and finish something for my mum. I'm startled by someone knocking on the door.

"Hey Lily can I talk to you?" Liam ask.

"Sure thing," I answer his question.

"I know this may sound weird but ever since I laid eyes on you, I've been in love with you. Like love at first sight ya know? Well I wanted to know if you'd like to go out sometime?" he stutters.

"That'd be great," I say and he walks out.

I hear a bunch of 'what did she say?'

'She's hot' and 'way to go man!'

I log into my Mac and plug it in. I'm so glad this thing charges fast. I stare into space and I hear a bing. Now computer is at 100%.

I walk out of the room, and I feel the air tense up. I walk fast very fast.

"Where you going Lily?" Louis asks.

God no. No. No. No.

"My room, why?" I reply.

"Would you care to join us for dinner?"

"Uh... Sure?"

I walk into my room to plug in my Mac just for good measures.

Good thing I fixed my hair because it looked pretty bad. I walk downstairs and I sit next to Louis and Niall. I pick and push around at my food. This is so awkward.. make it stop!

"So Lily where do you go to school?" Zayn breaks the silence.

"Oxford, I'm a junior," I answer.

"What are you studying?" Harry asks.

"Well I think I want to help people with addictions, ya know?" I tell him.

I excuse myself and dump my plate into the sink. I walk up the stairs into my bedroom, closing it rather loud.

Louis' POV

"So Liam, tell me what's going on!" I nudge into Liam.

He blushes and tries to hold his smile.

"I think all 5 of us should go in to talk to her eh?" Zayn says.

"Yeah."

"Totally."

All of us knock on her door and she groans. "What do you want?"

"Can we come in?" I ask her.

"Uh we?" I can totally see her faces right now!

"Yeah, me, Liam, Niall, Zayn, and Harry."

"Give me a few minutes," she says.

Lily's POV

I go for a lazy, yet cute look. Why am I trying to look nice for my older brother's best friends..? I grab my dance team sweat pants and a blue sweater. Then I pull my hair back in a loose, but cute pony. And to top it off, I wear my LuLu Lemon headband.

"Yes?" I ask opening the door.

"Can we come in?" Liam asks.

" Yeah of course. Sorry my room's really messy!" I apologize.

"We know where she gets her messiness from!" Harry nudges Louis.

I sit down and my bed and Louis joins to snuggle with me.

"Aww," all the boys say.

Louis kisses me on the forehead and I squeeze him tight.

"So what do you guys need?" I ask.

"Well how about love at first sight?" Louis asks.

"Um. How about no," I say. Louis chuckles.

"Um. How about yes," he mocks. I roll my eyes. I bury my face into Louis' chest.

"How about we talk about this later...?" I suggest.

"Sure."

*night of the date*

I pace around my room going back and forth back and forth.

"Hey beautiful," he says.

"Hey handsome," I say and he hugs me. He was right, it was love at first sight, for me too.

He took me somewhere so nice an I'm not even kidding! I was called Romano Anthony's. Some fancy Italian place.

We walk into the restaurant and all I can smell is cheese. A nice, expensive cheese.

"Payne," Liam tells the attendant.

The attendant takes into a separate room and my jaw literally drops to the floor.

"Do you like it?" he asks me.

"Yes this is fantastic!" I say. "Thank you!"

Almost immediately, a server comes to take our order. I order chicken Alfredo. And Liam orders sausage pizza.

"So tell me a little bit about yourself," I tell Liam.

"Well, I have 5 siblings. 5 sisters and then there's me. I'm the oldest of all of them so I was kind of the 'ruler' when we were little. All of there names are...

Leigh

I'm the older then all of them by 7-10 years. I went to high school, but then tried out for X-Factor. So I dropped out," he tells me.

"I like your sisters name," I tell him.

"I thought so," he laughs.

We finish eating and leave. He takes us back to the flat.

Turns out the boys and me all have a flat together. They insisted that I moved in because Anna, Louis fiancée is going to move in!

When we get back, the boys are watching tv. We walked by them and I head to my bedroom. I change into my sweats and knock on Liam's door.

"Thanks again for tonight," I thank him and hug him.

"You're welcome," he says.

I turn to walk out of the room, but he tells me to wait.

"I assumed that it was love at first sight for both us, so I- I- I.. I wanted to know if we could be a couple," he admits.

"Of course!" I say and he hugs me. I'm startled when we throws me against the wall and plops a kiss onto my lips. His lips take like minty strawberries. So foreign, but so good.

I slowly pull away from the kissing and we lay in bed and cuddle. "I love you," he whispers.

"I love you too."
