Jinx's POV

The lights flickered back on and Eve was gone as well. First my precious Leo, now Eve. Who the hell is doing this?

I noticed Jade's eyes widen and her face go pale. She started breathing heavy and she clutched her chest. Tears slowly started to creep down her cheeks. "Crap! Jade!" I yelled and ran to her side.

She was having an anxiety attack. She dropped to her knees and I held her in my arms. "Shh, calm down. It's alright. Jade calm down." I comforted. She had slight anxiety, so anxiety attacks were kinda rare in her case. But she just watched her girlfriend disappear right in front of her eyes.

Adam tried to help comfort her too. He went to go get water. Katria walked in from where she was talking with Steve in the other room. "Hey guys I think the powers acting up- woah! Jade are you alright? Where's Eve and Leo?"

Steve trailed in behind her. He looked just as shocked. Adam returned holding a glass of water which Jade took gratefully. "Th-thanks." She panted.

She experimented standing and only wobbled slightly at first. "Where's Eve? Oh god why didn't I listen to her! She knew something wasn't right! Now she's gone!" She cried. Her breathing hitched and I set my hands on her shoulders.

"Jade! Jade! Calm down! Before you have another attack!" I said. She relaxed slightly and sat down on the couch.

"Okay, I'm sorry. It's just what if we never find them?" She asked.

"Don't worry. Leo has good mapping skills. I'm sure he could figure out a way to get back to us." I comforted and smiled. The lights flickered again.

Jade instantly flung to my arm. "Oh hell no! You aren't taking my baby sister too!" She squealed.

They turned back on and Steve and Katria were gone.

Cinnamon stirred beside me. She opened her eyes and yawned. Sitting up, she stretched her arms and rubbed her eyes. "Nnng, what happened?" She asked innocently.

Adam quickly explained the scenario to her. She jumped across the room at Adam and clung to his chest. "No no no! I don't wanna disappear! Or you!" She squealed.

Adam pried her off of his chest and set her down. "Don't worry Cinnamon. I'm not going anywhere." He said. She smiled. Then the lights went out again.

When they returned to life, Cinnamon squealed. Adam, who was just before her, not even a foot away, was gone as well. "This is madness!" Anwar called from the corner. Ansara was in his grasp, not saying a word.

Jade stood up. "Alright. Everyone, grab onto someone. Hopefully then when the lights turn off again, which should most likely be soon, one of us probably won't disappear!" Cinnamon and I grabbed Jade's hands. Ansara and Anwar kept their tight hug.

Just as Jade predicted, the lights burned out. I still held right onto her hand which was sweaty with fear. When the lights came back on again, I noticed that Jade and Cinnamon were still there. I sighed in relief, but t was short lived.

Ansara and Anwar were gone. Cinnamon was in tears. "There's only us! What are we gonna do!? I'm gonna die!" She squealed.

She started to run towards the door but the light vanished again. Immediately, I grabbed onto my sisters arm. When the light returned, Cinnamon was gone. Jade stared at me, pure terror filled her eyes. "W-what is its him...?"

"No. It wouldn't be. We defeated him twice. That would be impossible. Just calm down." I said.

We sat back down on the couch, awaiting which one of us would be the next victim.

Jade's POV

Jinx and I sat in silence. I was terrified. Our partners and our friends have disappeared and for all we knew right now, could be dead. There was really nothing we could do. This wasn't a game anymore. This wasn't a sick prank. This was reality.

Pure darkness suddenly engulfed us light a silent gunshot. My heart was racing. I went to grab for my sisters hand but found nothing as I did with Eve. She was gone now too.

The lights turned back on and I was all alone. "Hmm what will you do without your friends, freak?" A familiar voice called.

"Ansara?!"
