Leo's POV

I watched in horror as Jinx fused with her sister. Jinx had gone mad from the black blood of the keishen. This can't be happening. I glanced over to Eve who looked like she was about to pass out.

"Jade's gonna get infected too! What do we do?!" She screamed.

They Unresonated and stood up, looking at each other with reptilian grins. "Hey Jadey? Remember when we were younger and used to practice using eachother as weapons?"

Jade giggled. "'Course ah do Jinx." Her gaze darkened. She turned to face everyone. I examined her eyes which now the cat like pupil was bigger and more defined.

On the way up the hill, Jinx had secretly told me that Jade had a dream this would happen. Oh god... Jade knew this was going to happen... But she didn't believe it...

Jinx shifted and Jade held her, aiming at her friends.

Us.

Jade's POV

I realized that this was the dream. It was coming true. More like a nightmare.

My whole body burned as if an unknown fire was lit on my pale skin. What was happening to me?

I forced my eyes open and saw that the blood was almost to my chest. I tried moving forward but it was very difficult.

I managed to trudge to reach Jinx. She was sleeping but she must be having a nightmare as she was writhing around. I tried desperately to free her from the blood but nothing worked.

Then it hit me.

What if I used my magic..?

Leo's POV

Jade had Jinx pointed at us. She kept giggling like she was drunk. She broke out into a full on hearty laughter and dropped Jinx. She shifted back to human and started laughing with her sister. "Jade, what's so funny?" Jinx laughed.

Jade closed one eye and placed one hand on her head, the other on her hip. "I'm just..." She started between shakes of laughter, "excited for this. Alright, I'm good now. Let's do this!" She said and Jinx shifted again.

Cinnamon shifted and Adam started shooting at the blue haired girl. Nothing worked. She dodged every single bullet. "Awe come on! You're ruining all the fuuun~!" Jade whined. She then started shooting at us. Eve and I dove behind the couch. Adam, still holding Cinnamon, pushed a table over and hid behind that.

I felt a bullet knick my ear. I winced in pain fir a second. "Damn it, we gotta find a way to help them without killing them!" I said.

"What if Jade used her magic?" Eve suggested.

"I don't think that will work considerind she's trying to kill us with her sister." Adam said.

We just watched as she stayed in the same spot and shot numerous times. But then she stopped.

We all glanced at eachother puzzled.

Jade stood there and a bright red glow formed around her. Jinx shifted and the glow appeared around her too. "What the hell is going on?!" I yelled.

Jade blinked but then she shot her eyes open and stared at us. "Guys are you okay?! I tried using my magic to remove the black blood but-" Another glow inturrupted her. Now it surrouded all of us.

Then something flashed a blinding light. Once the light dimmed down everyone was on the floor holding their heads. "Holy crap that felt weird." A deep voice said. I opened my eyes to see it came from Jade. "What the hell?! I'm a dude!"
