Soul Resonance

Chapter five

Jinx's POV

     It.. Couldn't be! But Jade...

     Jade backed away from him, shaking.

     Eve asked, "Jade, Jinx, do you know this thing!?"

    My heart dropped, and Jade went very pale. Jade ran away into a bush, she was vomiting. I felt like I was going to but I didn't.

     Cinnamon got on Adam's shoulders, did a flip in the air and turned into a pistol, as she fell Adam caught her.

     Katria jumped at Steve, she grabbed his hand then turned into an axe.

     Anwar did sort of the same with Ansara. Anwar was a spear.

     "Jinx come on! Turn into a machine gun!" Leo yelled at me. I was frozen with terror, my feet glued to the ground. I could barely breathe. He grabbed my hand.

     "I-it c-can't be..." I said.

     "What? Who is that? Jinx you know something that you're not telling me! Please turn!" Leo yelled desperately.

     The figure picked up Eve by her neck.

Jade's POV

     Eve comforted me while I vomited, then all of a sudden, I couldn't feel her hand on my back.

     I looked up in utter horror.

     He had picked her up and was holding her by her neck with one hand.

     Tears started to fall. "NOO!!! Put her down!" I screamed.

     He flung Eve across the ground towards Adam and Cinnamon.

     "Eve!!" I yelled, I just needed to hear her sweet voice to tell me she was ok.

     "She's breathing but doesn't look in very good shape." Adam yelled to me.

     I turned to Jinx. "We need to do it now!" I yelled at her.

     "But it hasn't worked ever! We always fall on our faces!" She said, terror filled her eyes.

     "What are you guys talking about!?" Leo asked.

     "Jinx, now!" I yelled, starting to run towards her.

     "Sister resonation... Go!" She ran towards me.

      We high-fived and did a flip. Flying into the air, a bright light blinding the sky.

     "Jinx what the hell is going on!?!?" Leo yelled.

     Eve sat up, slowly and what looked like painful, with the help of Adam.

     I landed on the ground, my eyes glowed red and black. My arms were now machine guns and my scythe formed on my back. I wore the same outfit but it was torn. Little sparks showed here and there on my machine gun arms. My eyes showed something I never thought I'd ever show again. The red and black sort of mist that showed my magic. Jinx and I could only resonate because of the strength of my soul, and the energy of hers, plus we were sisters.

     Everyone stared at us in utter shock, and a little bit of terror.

     "Will someone tell me what's going on!?" Leo yelled.

     No one answered. No one knew the situation, except Jjnx and I.

     "Ah, the Akerman sisters. Fancy meeting you again... I should've finished you when I had the chance. But little miss red eye over here got me first." He said.

     "What is he talking about, Jade?" Cinnamon and Eve asked.

     "Why don't you tell them, Jade. Tell them all about you're powers and what you did." He said, a smirk showing from his dark silhouette.

     "Jade? What powers? What did you do? Damn it answer me!!" Eve yelled.

     "Go ahead, I'll wait." He said. He was evil but sickly humorous.

     "I... I have powers, the ability to do almost anything... When Jinx and I were little..." I started.

     "Jade you don't have to, he's just trying to get in your head!" Jinx said from her weapon form.

     "But I love Eve... I can't lie to her... When we were little, we were kidnapped by a strange man... He locked us in a place what seemed like a dungeon... He abused us, mostly me... He cut, hit, slapped, and threw us. I had a broken arm. I-I still have the scars... All of the scars I told you were from just playing in the rocks at the beach... They were from him..." I explained.

     "Oh but Jade, do go on, please." He said in a amused tone.

     "One night... He had cut me countless times. My clothes were torn, my body bruised and bloody. He tried strangling me then threw me across the ground. But after when he thought I was defeated... He went after Jinx. She as only five! I tried everything to stop him... But that was the night I realized what a monster I was!" I yelled. Tears streamed down my face from all of these old memories.

     "Tell them what you did Jade."

     "I-I saw how terrified Jinx was, she wasn't hurt as much as I was. I told him to hurt me instead of Jinx... But I saw the terror in her purple and black eyes and something just came over me... I wasn't aware of my powers... But see how my eyes are now...? That's what they look like when I use my magic... I never wanted to tell you guys because I didn't want to hurt you... Or scare you..."

     "Damn it Jade what did you do that was so bad!?" Eve yelled at me.

     "I-I wasn't aware of my strength... I told you about my Whisp Hunter soul that's so rare... But sometimes I get this feeling where I'm incapable of doing anything to stop it and my hunters instinct takes over... I saw him heading for Jinx, the bloody knife that he just used on me, still in his hand... He grabbed Jinx's arm and went to stab her in the heart, but... But I stopped him. My eyes turned the red and black mist, I lifted him up and threw him across the ground, away from Jinx... I had all of the energy and strength in the world... I couldn't stop myself... I just... I just..." I stopped because my throat felt like it was closing up.

     "You just what...?" Ansara asked terrified.

     I turned to face everyone. Everyone was still in weapon form and the mysters stared at Jinx and I horrified.

     "Tell them Jade. Tell them what you did to me."

     I looked away, "I killed him..." I muttered.
  
     "They didn't hear you Jade, do speak up so they can hear."

     I looked at everyone, tears streaming down my face. "I killed him!" I screamed. I fell to my hands and knees. "I didn't even turn weapon form... I killed him with my own bare hands... I was only eight..."

     "But I'm back Jade, back for revenge." He said to me. Then he turned to everyone else. "Now, all of you know the story. It's time to choose the ending."

     I stood up, fire blazed from my eyes. Literal fire.

     "Don't you dare lay a hand on my friends. I would die for them." I said.

     I loaded up Jinx and aimed my machine gun arms towards him.

     "Still think you're stronger than me Jade?"

     "Try me."
