June's POV (Jade and Jinx's mom)

I walked through the hallways of my large house. Ever since my husband John left me and the girls, I've lived alone. But tonight I was serving dinner to Lord Death's son, and his sons two weapons.

(Quick A/N: the characters from the show are legends in this.)

It was dark out and late, they all sat at the table. Lord Death wanted to come but couldn't because of the Keishen sleeping under the DWMA. (Sorry spoil alert)

I wanted to get a little bit acquainted with his son considering his age. He was not much older than Jinx. Just a year younger than Jade. Maybe they could become friends? But Jade wasn't good with meeting new people because of her powers, they made her very uneasy around just her friends, let alone strangers.

Kid wiped his mouth. "Thank you for dinner Ms...?" He paused at my last name. I had gone by Akerman until John left.

"Silovent, but please. Call me June." I smiled. He was such a gentleman.

His two weapons did the same.

Liz and Patty Thompson were angels. They were very polite and kind too.

     I heard a scream.

We all looked at each other in shock and ran to the nearest window, trying to see who or what it came from. It sounded feminine.

I jumped out of the window, Kid, Liz, and Patty following. We all ran along rooftops, following the noise.

It sounded like it was coming from Jade's apartment. It wasn't that far from my house. I saw a bunch of kids standing in a circle in front of her place. Getting closer I realized they were Jade and Jinx's friends.

The red glow showed and I stopped dead in my tracks. It was happening again.

"June? Are you alright?" Kid asked me.

     "It's happening again..."

"What is? What's that strange red glow?" He asked, sounding deeply worried.

I couldn't answer. I feared for my daughters life, and hoped she wasn't doing it to someone important. She landed something, but from where I was standing, I lost view of her because of a large tree in the way.

"Damn!" I said trying to see again.

I closed my eyes and kneeled down as everything went silent.

     "June, what's wrong?" Liz asked.

     "It's over..."

I saw Jade lying in Adam's arms, her breathing slowing. She had lost a dangerous amount of her energy.

Jinx was talking to Leo, who was hugging her side.

I ran and jumped down there.

"Mom!" Jinx said, running to my side and hugging me.

"What happened, Jinx?" I asked, tears forming in the corners of my eyes.

"I-it's happened again mom... But this time I couldn't stop her..."

Jinx's POV

     "I don't know Ansara..." I admitted.

All of a sudden I heard a thump. I turned around to see my mother, standing there in her usual yellow flannel and jeans, her long brown hair up in a ponytail. Her   eyes tearing up at the sight of her daughter dying.
