What is a soul mate specifically? The dictionary states it's a person ideally suited to another. Is that what you are to me? Of course. But the better question is, is that what I am to you? I know that I trust you more than anyone I have ever encountered. And I love you more than I thought was ever possible. And I care about you more than I care for myself. Does that mean you are my soulmate? What would make me yours? If I were to, say, break my own heart for you every day, would that make me your soul mate? If I were to give up my happiness for you, would that make me your soul mate? If I were to do everything in my power to make you happy, would that make me your soul mate? If I were so in love with you that I would stand by as your friend and nothing more because it's what you want, would that make me your soul mate?
