Today was the day and I was more nervous than I've ever been before. We were performing for them at a park. They had even set up chairs for people to sit and watch. We went through a small sound check and people started stopping and watching as they walked by.

"Why am I so scared?" I said.

"Just relax." Caleb said.

"I'm trying, but it's not working."

"Maybe you should rethink your profession."Austin said.

I punched him the arm and he acted like it hurt, but I knew that it didn't hurt him at all. My hand was throbbing afterwards. Where did he get muscle?

"You got this." Mitch said. "Nothing to worry about."

He held my hand and it helped calm me down. I smiled and tried not to think about my nerves, just the moment.

We all got on stage. Got all of our instruments ready. I looked over at Mitch and he nodded his head that it was time. I stepped up to the mic and spoke.

"Hey everyone! Thanks to everyone who came out today. We're going to sing three songs. Two covers and an original song."

I had finally gotten around to finishing that song that I had been working on for almost a year now. Today was our first time performing it, and that's one of the reasons I was so insanely nervous.

Once we had finished the first two songs, it was time to sing my song. I could feel the butterflies in my stomach and I was sure that I was going to be sick. I just kept looking ahead, not at the people, not at the boys, just straight.

Caleb started off with the first riff and then Mitch and I joined in. I started singing the first verse and when I did, all of my nerves just melted away. I opened my eyes and saw everyone smiling and nodding their heads. They liked it, they actually liked it! I couldn't believe it.

When the song was over, everyone that was there stood up and clapped for us. It made me so happy, but what made me happiest was the fact that the three people who we were really doing this for, were smiling and clapping the most out of everyone.

The show finished and we started packing up. All three of them walked over to us and shook our hands. Mr. Feld or James, which is what he wanted us to call him, introduced us to the manger and agent.

"This is, Ronny Park, talent agent and Jennifer Morris, manager. This is UltraViolet." He said.

We shook their hands and said hello to them. My stomach was back in knots again.

"We were very impressed by your performance." Mr. Park said.

"Yes we were," Ms. Morris chimed in. "And I'm all ready to sign you with my management company."

We looked at each other, eyes wide and mouths open. This could not be happening!

"That's great." I said.

"And I'm ready to represent you as your agent." Mr. Park said.

Again, was this really happening?!

"Well, we're ready to sign and get things going." Mitch said and we all nodded our heads in agreement.

"Great, we'll be by next week to finalize everything."

"Sounds good." I said.

We shook hands, said our goodbyes and once they had left we all screamed and joined in a group hug, yes I was even crying but I honestly didn't even care.

"Did that just happen?" Caleb asked.

"Yes, it really did." I said.

"I can't wait to tell my family." Mitch said. "They'll be so excited."

"Same here." Austin said.

We packed everything off and dropped it off at my house. Then went straight inside to tell my parents what had happened. They were just as happy and shocked as we were.

"So now what happens?" Mom asked.

"Well, they said they'll be back next week to sign contracts and stuff." I said.

"Wow, that soon?" Dad asked.

"Guess so." I said.

"Okay, well then what happens?" He asked.

The four of us looked at each other. We all knew what was coming next. We would have to move to LA. It was the best option and smartest thing for us to do right now.

"We're gonna have to move, to LA." I said.

My parent's faces fell, but just as quickly as they had fallen, they lit back up again.

"We understand." Mom said. "We expected it."

I sat down next to them on the couch. The boys were still there and I knew they felt kind of awkward, but I didn't care.

"Mom, I know this is hard for you, but I'll be fine. I've got the boys and we're gonna make something out of this."

"I know you will." She smiled. "You've always been my superstar and I knew you would make it. I'll be at every show I can come to."

She kissed me on the forehead and then she looked at the boys.

"You three come here. You're just like the sons I never had."

They all walked over and she hugged them all. They smiled and they were even crying. Once the intimate moment had passed, Mitch and I walked hand in hand down to his house.

"You doing good?" He asked.

"I'm doing great." I said. "Are you?"

"Yeah, yeah I am. I just can't believe this. Our dream, it's really coming true."

"I know. It's so surreal." I said.

"It really is. This year has been, though. I mean yeah, it's mostly a blur for me, but still it's been crazy. In a good way."

"I agree." I smiled.

When I really thought about it though, it had been such a crazy year for us so far. I never thought that I would actually be getting signed to a record deal, and also dating my best friend. I was literally the happiest that I had ever been.

We got to Mitch's house and stopped on the porch. He pulled me close and kissed me. It wasn't even weird. Like, some people might think it would be, but it felt so right. I don't know why, but it just did.

"Well, ready for our next adventure?" He asked, smiling.

"Always." I smiled.
