Madame Lee soon discovered that there had been more wild beasts down in the bomb shelter and yes, Andy had put them there.

Cloey would survive, but she wouldn't heal in time for the mission. I had minor scratches and I was able to train the day after. Three days from then would be the actual mission.

I wasn't really sure if I wanted to go back to the bomb shelter. It was dark and eerie down there, and I didn't trust that all the beasts had been evacuated. But there was no going back to the bomb shelter. We would train in the jungle, apparently in honor of Megan.

"How will this work out?" Taylor questioned.

"We will stick together in groups," Crowose began.

"I don't like being up here," Godwin muttered.

Crowose pretended not to hear him.

"I say we split up," Zack joked. He snickered; he found himself very amusing, and now he didn't have his sister to tell him off.

"That is a complete recipe for disaster," Crowose retorted, giving him the look.

Zack gave her the look back just before laughing again.

"What are we going to be doing up here anyway?" I questioned.

"If you would let me get there, I would tell you," said Crowose through gritted teeth, lowering her head towards me so that her face was covered in shadows when she looked at me.

"We will work our way through the trees and SAFELY battle each other; I'm talking to you, Zack," she continued. Now Crowose lowered her head towards him.

"Cool," he replied casually.

"The groups are me, Godwin, Zack," Crowose began to explain.

"Darn it!" Zack exclaimed.

"The other group is Lilliana, Taylor, and Steve. Now you may head off. Good luck! Occasionally send Lilliana above the trees so that we know where each other are. I'll send Godwin." Then she headed north with her group, Zack slouching behind. My group headed east.

"This should be fun," Taylor stated dryly.

We trudged through the brittle leaves, gazing around, as silently as we could. Then we turned left and began to become bored.

"I doubt that we'll run into each other," said Steve, disturbing the silence, "We'll probably just get lost."

Before Taylor or I could reply, I heard Godwin's faint voice from above. "Lilliana! Come on up!" I pushed off of the ground, TurboWind in hand, to see Godwin twenty meters to the left. When I descended, we heard a rustling from up ahead. We knew that the first group was out to get us now.

"Everyone, get low and hide," I whispered, "And prepare to surprise them!" Steve and Taylor did as told, seemingly slipping into the shadows.

At first, we saw Zack jump out, a very confused expression upon his face. "Where'd they go?" he asked.
