*Leon's POV*

The words that were used to open the door may have just been that. Words to open the door.

The beast on the other side of that door said otherwise.

There were several heads sitting on the body of a seven foot tall wolf. They all snarled, revealing teeth that looked about four feet tall, and at least a dozen hooked, venom dripping tongues.

Behind that there were at least fifty zombies. The room had to be huge to hold all of the B.O.W.s. You would never really be able to tell that though with how packed the place is.

"Leon, what do we do?"

"I'm trying to think on that. If you have any ideas please let me know."

Fuck.

The only way out of the room and towards wherever it was we needed to be going was blocked and locked. One extra look at the wolf showed me that a key chain with several keys on it were attached to the rotting collar on the wolf's neck.

"One thing is for sure. We have to get that collar."

Claire followed my finger. When she saw the keys her face melted into regret. "That's great. Just great."

We both raised our guns to start shooting. When the first bullet hit the massive beast, it roared in pain. Muscles bunched under it's legs, getting ready to send the monster howling straight into us.

"Get down!"

Claire followed the order just as the monster jumped. One of the long as hell nails on the meaty paw of the monster nicked my back and sent me sprawling forwards into the zombies.

"Leon! Leon, no!"

Cold, clammy, dead, rotting hands closed on my arms, my throat, and my legs. I could smell their stinking breath as their mouths got close to my skin.

I kicked and hit profusely, rolling this way then that way. Zombies slipped and fell backwards, while some slipped to fall squarely on top of me. This really was not helping.

I was holding a zombie off of my neck with one hand. I needed to find my gun. That would be the only way I would make it out of this.

Shots sounded in some other part of the room, not too far from me. Deep snarls from the wolf itself told me what exactly those random bullets were hitting.

My free hand scrambled for my gun. I couldn't see past the hungry dead. All I could feel was solid, cold concrete floors under my finger tips.

*Claire's POV*

Leon was struggling in the big pocket of zombies. I had no way to help him with El Gigante Balto breathing down my neck.

I shot the thing several times in several different places. It didn't seem to be doing anything to it. It still had the strength to jump at me every few seconds. There had to be a way to kill this damn thing.

The wolf lunged again. I jumped underneath it, but this time, I twirled through the air so I could get a look at the stomach of the B.O.W.

Exposed entrails were there, underneath a thin, see through skin membrane. That was the weak point. I had to find a way to get to that. Maybe to cut it open so they would fall onto the floor.

That was the best plan. If I tried shooting that thing while I was underneath it I would wind up a pancake.

Once I scrambled back onto my feet I started looking around for something sharp. There had to be something, anything.
