Younce POV

I did Princess edges as I finished doing her hair for school. I looked down at her outfit and made sure she looked pretty. She grabbed her book bag and through it down the stairs.

Younce- Now why would you do that?
Princess- Because I didn't feel like carrying it all the way down stairs.
Aj- Dad!!!!
Princess- He's in his room!
Aj- *walks to Aaliyah room*
Princess- So Aunti Younce. Are you gonna be at my dance today?
Younce- You already know.
Princess- Ion want Ashanti there
Younce-*mumbles* shit me either.
Princess- I heard that.

August POV

I looked back at Aj coming in with a comb in his hand.

August- Wuss Gus Yungin'?
Aj- *stands on the stool next to him* Can you teach me how to comb my hair? Ms. Younce or Ms.Aaliyah do it. But Ms.Younce was doing Princess hair.
August- Yea. I gotcha Yougin'

I stood behind him and started combing his hair. I grabbed my vaseline and rubbed it together putting it in his hair. Boy had hair like his pop.

Aj- Ms.Aaliyah puts that in my hair to.
August- Fa' real? I though she would put some of that grey stuff in yo hair like what girls use.
Aj- Nahh, she said I have hair like you.
August-*smirks* She was right.

I walked down their school holding Princess in one arm and holding Aj hand in the other. Will stayed home today because, he wasn't feeling to good.

Princess- Daddy you think mommy gonna be at my dance today?
August- Knowing ya mother, she wouldn't miss it for the world.

I put her down in front of her class and kissed her.

August- Have a good day Ight?
Princess- Alright.*walks in*
Aj- You think my mommy gone be at my football game?

I looked down at Aj and began walking.

August- We had this conversation bull. Ya know ya mama can't be hea at this moment but she gone be hea to watch ya play ya games.
Aj- I know... Will Ms.Aaliyah be there?!(he said exited)
August - I'm sure she will. But you have good day youngin Ight?

I bent down to his leave and we pounded our fist together and blowing it up at the end.

Aj- I will.
August- Alright.
Aj- *walks I his classroom*

I walked back to the car looking at my phone trying to see if there was any missed calls from Aaliyah and none as usual. I walked outside and got in my truck pulling off to the studio.

August-*picks her up* Hey babyeh. How was school?
Princess- Okay, and you won't believe what I seen today!!
August- what?
Princess- I have to tell mommy first *gets down getting in the car*
August- How was ya day youngin?
Aj- It was ok, fun for the most part
August- *chuckles* Dats Wussup.

I made sure they was strapped and then I got in the car pulling off with Princess rushing me.

Once I got to the house I notice Sherry car parked there. I got out getting them out and they ran inside with Coca running to the door.

Princess- Heyyy Grandma!!!
Sherry- Hey grandma baby.
Princess- Where's Uncle Monty and Aunti Zy?
Sherry- There gonna meet us there.
Princess- Okay. Are you gonna help me get dressed?
Sherry- Of course.

Princess ran up the stairs calling Younce name. I looked at sherry leaning down to Aj level talking to him

Sherry- Hey Aj.
Aj- Hi.
Sherry- How are you doing?
Aj- I'm okay how are you doing?
Sherry- I'm okay thank you for asking.
Aj- No problem.
