Chapter 4

The cold of the night bit to Naruko's skin, she hated her current mission. She looked at her two team members Hinata and Kiba. The mission was set in Iwakagure, the goal was to stop a scroll from being stolen. The scroll held a seal that only Naruko knew how to function, but on an ignorant mood she chose to not think about it.

Naruko heard of the bounty placed on Sasuke since their last encounter, it interested her to the worst point. Naruko slowly stood from her crouching position and looked over at Hinata. The wind blew in her blonde hair and the moonlight made her eyes come alive, missions like these she hated the most.

The scroll thieves stood in the shadows staring at Naruko as she jumped from her tree into a bush. There was a sense of doubt in their eyes as they watched the Konoha team move away. Sasuke stood up and looked over at his new team member Suigetsu. They were a pair and both agreed to each others terms.

Sasuke used a sunshun Justu to near the room of the scroll, he waited as his shark toothed friend came after panting. Sasuke opened the seal to the room and waited as he felt Naruko's chakra movement, she was hovering around outside waiting to attack.

"We get the scroll out we leave."
"Yeah but that blonde is outside."
"She isn't a matter to you, I'll deal with her." Sasuke said with confidence, he wanted to battle Naruko again.

He began to wonder if it was an addiction, he seemed to enjoy the battles with Naruko more than Naruto. He recalled their last battle with a prideful smirk, he waited outside while Suigetsu stole their mission objective. Sasuke signalled the shark man thing to move out.

As soom as Suigetsu left, Sasuke took a seat on the library chair pulled on his hoodie and folded his arms. Naruko waited an hour outside and looked inside, she ran through the temple corridors to the library. She opened the door and froze, she felt her heart begin to pick speed and her hands began sweaty.

Sasuke saw her gulp and grip the door handle, she seemed to be very angry or scared. Naruko didn't know who was befire her but his chakra was so strong, it was so familiar. She took out her daggers and stared with at least a mimic of anger at him.

"Hello Naruko."
"S-Sasuke." She said, her voice strong but still silent.

The moonlight gently hit the rogue ninja's face, he was smirking with his sharingan activated. Naruko angrily charged without thinking out a plan, the hurt the hatred the pain of loving Sasuke drove her attack. He kicked her down and walked to her as she panted holding her stomach while looking up at the Uchiha taking his sword out of its holster.

Naruko was still staring at Sasuke a senbon hidden as she panted clenching her stomach. Sasuke was ready to stab her but jumped back and began laughing. The laugh was loud, dangerous it sounded like a laugh Orochimaru would be proud of. Naruko stared in fear at the man who she respected, he was standing before her laughing at nothing, it was as if he was mad. He sounded like he lost all his mentality to his revenge.

"Despite how stupid you think I am, I won't waste time trying my best to dodge little baby moves." He said and pulled his hoodie off he smirked as he pulled his cloak off revealing his new outfit.

Naruko was staring at him with a fear she had never shown, she just froze. The way Sasuke smiled was scaring her, it made her want to run over to him and hug him apologise.

"I killed a sannin, one of the best Orochimaru."
"I have nothing to say." Naruko said as she got up taking a stance.

Sasuke laughed shaking his head as he placed his cloak on the chair he once sat on. The room was small and Naruko felt like leaving, she wondered how come when she's alone or fighting Sasuke alone she always weak.

"Well I wanted to tell you I'm getting my revenge soon."
"Why do you want it so bad, come back to Konoha."
"I HAVE NO ONE, YOU WONT UNDERSTAND!"
"You have me." Naruko said lowly as she dropped her stance her eyes gleamed with tears.

The sentence that made Sasuke stare and lose his smile. He looked at Naruko, he felt pain in his heart he felt his anger escalating from that feeling. Sasuke wondered why he still fekt something for the dumb blonde, why he cared if he injured her too much.

"I didn't get that."
"You have me damn it, why can't you see how much I love you, your sorry cry baby emo stupid ass!" Naruko yelled and ran forward with her fist drawn back.

Sasuke caught her fist and pulled her close. They were facing each other their noses touching. Naruko was staring wide eyed as at Sasuke's next action, he threw her back and was glaring out the window.

"Give up on me, you probably are hurting yourself."
"Stop pushing those who care away!"
"You are dumb or slow, listen here Blondie I hate you, I hate Konoha and you know what screw you and that brother of yours this Sasuke isn't that guy anymore learn to hate me okay!" Sasuke said and Naruko stared at him.

Hinata was standing outside the door waiting to kill Sasuke when She got a glimpse of their situation. She heard the way Sasuke said the words hate to Naruko, he sounded sad not angry. This made Hinata wonder what exactly was Sasuke.
