The word had been out. Lulu had caught the scent of many Anbu members she was all too familiar with closing in on her house. She knew what was going to happen as she also caught the whiff of Kakashi's scent along in the mix. At that moment, she thanked her Hisakawa blood for the good nose or else she wouldn't have made it out in time.

Was it too much to ask the hokage to let an S-rank criminal to stay in Konaha? Well, yes....it was actually. But, she had to admire how long she had got him to stay. It have been over a month now and she knew that the other villagers and lands weren't too happy with the idea. Who could blame them?

She dragged him, marching through the outskirts of Konoha. He was heavy seeing he was dragging his feet against the forest floor, but that was because he was reluctant to all of this. He didn't want her to go out of her way to betray her village for him. He didn't want her to become a target just because she was willing to go rogue. He loved her too much for that.

"Lulu..." he murmured over the thunder infested weather. She ignored him of course and continued the path before she felt a tug on her arm. "Lulu, stop." Madara made her face him as he looked down into her purple eyes. He couldn't tell what they were saying, but he knew she was thinking about a lot right now.

"Why are we stopping.  They're looking for you." The kunoichi tried to walk once more only to be held down. "We need to keep moving, Ma."

Holding the younger woman by her shoulders, he places a soft kiss on her lips before murmuring, "We need to go back-"

"Like hell we do-"

"And like hell I'll let you be a target because of me." The raven haired male snapped back as he pulled away. Madara ran his fingers through his hair as he glanced up at the dark clouds that threatened to spill its content at any minute. "Look at me." Lulu did so with puffed out cheeks. "It's okay. I promise-"

"Don't go promising something you know nothing about." It came out as a hiss, but Lulu knew she was deeply worried for the consequences of returning back to her home. She knew they wouldn't waste any time to eliminate the Uchiha and she couldn't allow it. "I know you've changed.  You smile genuinely...you laugh wholeheartedly...your eyes..." she took a chance to look into his oxyn eyes. "They're bright. When I meet you...they were filled with hatred and sorrow, but not anymore. It's different."

"And, Lu....I thank you." Madara gives her a smile. "You gave me another shot at this love without me dying bitter." He knew it had been true since he caved into the hatred when his family had died and he was left with nothing. He felt himself being swallowed into the darkness until now. Until he felt love again by the woman in front of him. She keeps going out of her way for him and he needed to stop before she risked her life as well.  While kissing her forehead, he takes a kunai out and mutters against her skin. "Kill me."

Lulu paused as she felt the raindrops trickle down the both of them. Her eyes wide as she stared at the blade. Normally, the rain would boost her happiness...but, not right now. She felt anything but happy. Her violet orbs never taking her eyes away from the weapon. "W-what?"

"Kill me." Removing his lips from her caramel skin, Madara gives her a slight smile while looking down at the frozen woman. "You should live your life and not let me get in the way of it...you deserve better-"

"But, Madara...!" She wanted her voice to be strong as she protested against him, but it was merely weak over the sound of the rain that began to get heavy.  "I won't do it. Stop kidding so we can get back on the road. We have to-"

"Lulu!" Placing the blade in her hand, his dark eyes narrowed, serious. "I'm not kidding. Go ahead. Pretend I left the toilet seat up again." He chuckled knowing how much she hated when he did it, but he found it funny when she would fall in.

Clenching and unclenching her fist, the woman felt tears swell up in her eyes before she closed them and attacked.

Entering her place, covered in blood, Lulu sighed and dragged her feet across her floor. Her wet, dirty shoes leaving tracks, but she didn't find herself to care at the moment. She narrowed her eyes at the Anbu members that invaded her place. Now she had to clean this shit up as well. Rolling her eyes, she found the sixth enjoying whatever was in her fridge. Furrowing her brows, Lulu wondered how he dared to eat in public without taking off his mask.

She dismissed the thought before dropping the blade and announcing, "I killed him." This causes the members to lower their weapon towards their leader before looking at the hokage for further instructions.

Kakashi simply looked her over. His eyes narrowed before he sighed and waved off the troops. Watching them spill out of the house, Lulu took a seat at the island and looked at her hokage, seeing he had still been here observing her. "Where is he?" Of course he wasn't stupid to believe she was actually willing to kill the Uchiha. The blood wasn't his and he could tell by his canine like nose. It was clear it had been hers and he wanted to know what the hell happened.

Lulu wasn't a bit surprised that the hokage had been able to tell. He was the leader over the village after all. She just needed some sake right now to get rid of the stressful day. "He's still on the outskirts, waiting for my signal to come back." She mumbles before getting up and going over to her sake collection in one of her cabinets. She could see Kakashi's eyes following her with a slight disapproval look in his eyes.

"And why did you state you killed him?"

"Better than them killing him, yeah?" Pouring herself and the silver haired male a drink, she then state, "Because, if it was them to kill him, then it was going to be me killing them." Taking her seat at the island once more, she takes a sip of the alcohol and hummed at the bittersweet taste.

Kakashi didn't touch his drink, but merely continue to stare at his top ninja. Intrigued, he leaned in slightly and stared her down. "Well, do tell what happened."

(Flashback)

"Lulu!  What the hell!?" Madara was quick to take the kunai from the said woman's abdomen with wide eyes. Tossing the blade as he checked her injury, she felt her stroke his damp hair.

"Is this what you wanted me to feel?" She muttered. "You wanted me to feel this pain of having your love die right in front of you..." Taking a deep breath before exhaling after a while. "That's selfish, Madara."

Looking back at the kunoichi as he was speechless. He felt his heart clench as he felt this emotion before. The feeling of having the one you love die right in front of his eyes. It left an untreatable pain behind its trail. Gritting his teeth and unraveling the now soaked bandage from his arms, he raises the female's shirt and began to wrap up her wound. "Lulu,  please..." The Uchiha spoke quietly over the thunder.

Once finished, his lips was captured by Lulu as she felt her smile against his skin. He was confused to say the least. Her effort towards him. The way she would lose it all for him. She was so willing. "But...I'm bad for you..." Madara murmured, his hands snaking down to her waist as he held onto them.  He knew he wasn't the best option for a lover seeing he had hurt so many and experienced so much pain. But, the kunoichi before him still choose him. He knew how easy it would've been to just end him, so many times, but she forbid it.

Laughing slightly before jumping up to wrap her legs around his waist, "And, I'm good for you...I guess we can make this work, huh?" The male couldn't help but smile and chuckle. Seems he couldn't leave her that easily, not that he wanted to. But, she had a game plan he was all too willing to play.

~🙈🙉🙊~

"I see..." Lulu hadn't noticed while she was explaining this to him, he had downed his whole drink.  When did he do it was beyond her. Watching him push himself off the counter, he placed his hands behind his back and muttered through his mask. "I'm also willing to play your game, Lulu." Just as he was about to exit, he then says, "But, the ending of it...is hard to predict.  So, make sure your game has a winner, eh."

Hearing the door shut, she swallowed the last of her drink. Madara and Lulu vs Kakashi. And one winner. Not too difficult, right?
