Chapter Twenty-Three Point Four

Dino’s POV

Surprise! Surprise! It is me! The real me, Dino. Maybe, it’s kinda awkward seeing me here and sharing my point of view but there are lot of things na ako lang ang nakakaalam. That’s why I’m a part of this story, I’m may not be active sa life ni Kyle unlike Stephen and Bryan but still I have the second most important role here. Sunod nga ako kay Kyla Claine Montalez.

By the way, ang whole name ko is Dino Clark Montalez. Yeah, same surname kami ni Kyle pero hindi ko siya ka-ano ano. So let me explain, some things only.

First: Kyla a.k.a Kyle is my childhood friend. Maybe she can not recognize me anymore.

Second: I’m keeping a secret or I can say a promise from her past.

Third: Stephen Trosaylez is my real bestfriend before palang na mag-transfer kami.

Fourth: I am also familiarized with Bryan Ferriars. Hindi niya naman talaga ako kilala sa past but still we have acquainted.

Hayan ang four things na ma-se-share ko.

Yan palang, there are still lot more. Most of all, I’m deeply and passionately in love with her. Kyla. Actually, we have a promise before but it was just a prank joke na ako lang ay gumawa, and that’s joke was only before.

Seriously, nagbago ako but one day i forced to move on. Until now, hindi ko akalain na we will meet again. At hindi ko kayang ipaalam pa sa kanya lahat-lahat. Remember na I became a play boy dahil na rin sa influence ni Phen. He likes breaking girls’ heart at ngayon his special target is Kyle. Na ni-minsan hindi ko kakayaning masaktan, but I did before.

I always try to guilt Stephen na huwag na ituloy yung deal pero matigas siya. Para kasi sa kanya, once a deal, always a deal. Ganyan ang motto ng mga heart-breakers. I can not tell him straight to the point na I love Kyle passionately dahil no one knows it. Never na may nakakaalam except ang past. But I should stop him, right?

But he’s my best friend? But… arg… no buts…

After kung magpunta sa house nila, I tarry sa play ground sa park to think and refresh my mind. And I’ve decided…

I dialed his digits “Hello Phen. Play ground, punta ka ngayon” and I immediately hang up.

Fifteen minutes na paghihintay…

“Bakit ang tagal mo?” pa-galit kong tanong.

“Geez, tumakbo lang ako papunta dito. Bigla-bigla kang susulpot sa bahay, tapos aalis ka.” He’s reviving his oxygen. “Tapos tatawag ka, ano ba yun?”

“The deal…”

Umayos na siya ng tayo. “If you’re thinking na baka mag-back-out ako, don’t worry. Kyla is now in my hands so I don’t need to quit anymore and besides babalatua…”

Before he ends his statement “I want you to quit on it” I sarcastically command.

“Whoa! Din, may sakit ka ba?”

“No, I’m serious. Play with other just not Kyla.”

“Pare, if you said in the first place that you want the deal for yo--”

*PAK!!*

I punched him on his face as hard as I can “Seryoso ako! Quit playing games with her!!”

He puched back. “Ano bang problema mo?!”

“You don’t know her, I love her truly. Hindi mo na siya kilala!!” he hit each other as like no one wants to take disadvantage to each of us.

Until…

“Hey! You guys! Stop it!” si Kyla. He ran towards us and tried to stop us. “Stop it!”

Napatigil kami pareho. “You don’t know her anymore so stop this games!” huling banta ko.

“Hey!” pigil pa rin niya.

“What do you mean?!” he confused.

Hindi na ako sumagot. I ran away nang hindi sinasagot si Stephen. Hindi ko rin kayang makita si Kyla in my situation a while ago. Ayoko rin malaman niya sakin ang lahat. I can’t.

End of Dino’s POV

Stephen’s POV

Tumakbo na agad si Dino after saying those statement. Nalilito ako. Why does he means na hindi ko na siya kilala? Na hindi ko na kilala si Kyle?

“Bakit nga ba kayo nag-away ni Dino?” nasa park pa rin kami ngayon. She’s treating the wounds I received from him.

I lied “Hindi ko rin alam, basta medyo personal”

“There! Sige alis na ako, napadaan lang naman ako”

I still don’t know kung bakit ganoon siya mag-react, though he confessed that he loves Kyle. Hindi ko na rin naisipang pigilan sa pag-alis si Kyle dahil na rin sa pag-iisip ko sa mga binitawang salit ni Dino.

End of Stephen’s POV

Dino’s POV

Kakatakbo ko, napatigil ako sa harap ng bahay ni Kyle. Hanggang sa bumagsak na ako dun.

“Di-Dino?” familiar yung voice.

“Kyle?”

“Come inside” she helped me na makatayo at inalalayan niya ako papasok sa bahay nila. “Wait lang, huh.”

She came back with a first aid kit.

“Ano yan?”

“First-aid kit. Ano pa ba? Gagamutin natin yang sugat mo.”

Hindi na rin ako tumanggi since she acts very kind-hearted. We all know kung gaano niya ka-hate ang mga lalaki but when she becomes nice, hindi mo na rin yun maiisip.

“Wala ka bang itatanong?”

She shrugged. “Wala. He told me it’s about a girl. So it is not my business anymore.”

“Ah… Aray!” nag-likot kasi ako. Tama siya. It is about a girl, about her.

After, she treated my wounds, umuwi na ako.

We’re not close, she doesn’t even remember me anymore. It had been so many years, simula ng araw na yun at we are just kids that time.

Malilimutan at malilimutan din yun. But not in my case. Ayokong pangunahan ang fate pero sana before anything will end. Sana kahit minsan… masabi ko sa kanya ang lahat. Tsaka lang siguro ako magkakaroroon ng ending once I got her respond.

Until here, I can’t share anymore. Wala na rin akong lakas eh.

Sakit ng mga punches na na-received k okay Stephen. What will happen next then? Ewan!?!
