Classes again. Never ends!!
Mom brought me in the campus. Ma-lalate ako if ever nag-commute ako. I saw Cloeh naman kaagad so pinuntahan ko na siya.
“Hey! Cloeh!” I ran.
‘’Kyla!” familiar voice called out.
SH*T!!! Who’s that bastard na feeling close na tumawag sa name ko?!!
I stopped and looked around….
Whooppp!!
Nakaiwas ako.
“Coke in can??” I muttered.
“Kyle?!” si Cloeh.”Oy! kanina pa kita tinatawag ah.”
“Did you call me with my name?” I asked in a firm voice.
“Yes! Kyle. Duhh! As always.”
Weird? “Not Kyla?”
She made a confused look. “Oo naman. May takot naman ako no.”
Funny. Alam niya kasi that I’ll got mad if else…
“What was that?” she looked at my hand. “Coke?”
Tinignan ko rin. “May nang-bato sakin nito kanina eh. Buti nalang nakaiwas ako.”
“Sino naman kayang sira-ulo ang mang-babato ng softdrink in can diba?”
“Nevermind” I declared. “Where’s Josh?”
“Kyla!!” and that was Josh… He ran toward us.
“So ikaw pala yun and then threw me this can, huh!” I scolded.
“Anong ako?” he denied.
“Edi yung tumawag sa “girly” name niya.” Cloeh explained. “And twice…”
“Twice??” mas nakakalito niyang sagot. “I only called her once. Ano ba kayo? At I didn’t buy any drinks for today.”
“So hindi ikaw?!” naguguluhan na ako…
Silence…
All of us napa-isip. Then, a loud laugh broke it out.
“Missed me?!” another giggle.
“You?!” I surprised. “What the— ”
“Hey? What are you doing here?” Cloeh intruded…
“I’ll study here together with the three of you.” The worse announcement I heard before…
“Wooh! Dude, now Brian Ferriars is coming back.” Josh added.
Rrrrrngggg!!!
All of us stopped.
“Bell rang. Let’s go!” I forced Cloeh and we walked away.
“Smell ya later, Kyle” that Brian shouted.
“Kainis!” I yelled to Cloeh.
“It’s a democracy country kaya wala kang magagawa kung he’d chosen to study in here.” She said. “Hope your glasses will not break again.”
“Whatever?!”
“Just good luck!”
Brian’s POV
I decided to enroll at the same school of Josh. Kaya maaga palang pumasok na ako. After I got in the principal’s office, I went to the drinks machine. Someone caught my sight.
And that’s Kyla Claine Montalez. I planned to tease her. So I called her with her name which she hates inside the campus.
“Kyla!” I hid. She then looked around. Since I have a coke in can, I remembered the day na nabato ko siya instead of Joshua.
So ginawa ko ulit.
Nakailag naman siya kaagad. I giggled on what I did. Alam inis na inis nay un. After a while, nandun na si Cloeh at Josh at mukhang napagbintangan si Josh…
They all looked confused so I’ve decided to show myself and they were surprised. Mainit na ulo naman ang expression sakin ni Kyle, as usual like in the party.
The bell rang at mabilis nag-walk out si Kyle at Cloeh. I can’t stop laughing naman. I forgot na kasama ko pa pala si Josh.
“Hey!” he said. “I never thought that you’re going to follow her here.”
“Nope. Tapos na ako sa kanya. It was just coincidence na mag-enroll ako sa campus mo na campus din pala niya.” I explained.
He looked in disbelief. “Coincidence, huh?”
“Yeah… but I don’t know?!” I replied. “Maybe something left.”
I went to the appointed room na section ko daw. Naghiwalay naman kami ni Josh kasi kinuha ko pa nga yung section form ko.
As I got there and entered the room, I was surprised with the first view na nakita ko inside…
