Chapter Fifteen Point One

“Good morning!” mom is at home at siya pang naghanda ng breakfast for today. “Good morning, Dad!”

Wait! Dad is at home?!  Just a visit lang naman eh. I’m fond of these things. I was born in this family kaya no choice naman ako kundi to follow the flow of life.

After I ate my breakfast….

I planned to go to church with Cloeh and with... Josh? Ewan ko kung sasama yun.

“Got to go, Dad!” I kissed him and mom on their cheeks. “Bye mom!” and I hurried out.

Ayun, kasama nga si Josh. He gave us the ride. As I opened the door, nakita ko na si Cloeh. Back seat ako as always and now with her. Pumasok na ako and Josh drove off.

“Wala ba P.D mo today, Josh?” I asked.

He then, giggles. “Ah, hindi, kailangan ko lang talaga na mag-drive today.”

“Bakit? Any important matters?” I got my iPod and put the earphones in my ears.

Sumingit naman bigla si Cloeh. “May tourist tayo for today” as she said, may lumingon naman sa

akin from the shotgun seat, sa tabing seat ni Josh.

Si Brian.

“Oh great!” ibang tono ang pagkakasabi ko. Bad trip. Pero syempre, Sunday. Holy day kaya dinedma ko nalang.

“Thanks!” he said and gave a wink.

I volume up my iPod at lumingon nalang sa labas. Hinihintay makarating sa simbahan.

I kept my iPod and went out the car. Nauna na yung dalawa at nahuli ako.

“Hey Kyle!” Josh interrupted. “Please, wag ka magsungit sakin today.” I pretend I didn’t hear anything. “Please!” naku! Syempre may conscience naman ako.

“Fine!” at binilisan ko nalang ang paglalakad.

After the mass, the plan will go on. I mean kanila pala.

“Mall tayo!” other than Cloeh’s suggestion. “Agree? Brian?”

“Ok lang sakin.” Syempre payag siya. He don’t have the right yet.

“Sige, tara!”

Wala na ngang nagawa, edi kasama ako sa dumb na pamamasyal na ito.

We watched movie, horror! Suggestion ko syempre. Bakit? Kasi yun ang gusto ko. Romances are for only those lovers at wala na akong kinalaman dun. Syempre si Cloeh at Josh ang magkatabi at kasamaang palad. Si Brian pa ang katabi ko. I don’t know pero parang set-up ang nangyayari.

Todo tili naman yung iba.

Also Clow. Ako pa-easy-easy. No reaction. I already watched this movie. Ano pa!?!

“You don’t look afraid?” biglang bulong ni Brian.

Nakakaasar yun. “Because I’m really not.” At ayun nagsungit ako at lumipat ng seat. Mga five seats far from them.

Pagkalabas namin ng cinema, nag-wash room muna ako with Clow.

Saglit lang ako pero napansin ko na wala na siya.

Suddenly my phone rang.

Kyle may pupuntahan muna kami ni Josh ha. I need company first.

I know she’s going to do that. May date yung dalawa, hindi pa sinabi. At ngayon mag-isa na ako. I think I should go home. Yung badtrip naman na yun, siguro sinabihan na siya at umalis na rin. Lumabas na ako and went on.

“Hey! Wait!” paglingon ko siya. Brian. “San tayo ngayon?”
