Earth has long since been demolished and new planets have become home, each not knowing the other planet exists. But when Ambria is mysteriously teleported into Diatora, Everly's home planet, questions get asked. And the weirdest...

I am suddenly thrust awake in my room. I don't even know what time it is. Ambria is hovering on top of me with a worried look.
Orion enters the room casually as if he was meant to be here. As to why they are both in my room in the middle of the night, I have no clue.
Ambria starts saying that she needs to tell me something concerning. I know that if it wasn't important, she would be waiting until tomorrow. To risk coming all the way to my house for a petty concern was something I knew Ambria would not do.
I am now fully awake trying to comprehend what she is going to say. "Everly I needed to warn you about Margaret. She isn't as good as she seems. About ten years ago there was a group of people who could teleport, two guys. This was illegal back then too, Margaret kept a journal on them and in the end after watching them and keeping notes on them for experiments she turned them in. I fear that she is going to do the same thing to us and we need to be extremely careful."
I look at her with disbelief. Margaret, the woman at the stables that was kind to everyone. Who was a shoulder to lean on. I didn't believe it. I couldn't believe it.
But, Margaret was always a person that kept to herself. She didn't have any family. How could she have had such a beautiful big house just by working at the stables? I felt betrayed. Hurt. If she was really who Ambria said she was, she lived her whole life as a double person. I knew she didn't care what happened to us as long as she was being rewarded for it.
I look at Orion. At first I am angry at Ambria for bringing him here and telling him about teleportation. But then I remember Ambria and Orion talking that very first time. He said he knew what teleportation was.
It was possible he knew what we were talking about. And by looking at him, I was sure of it. He seems to take this in without much shock.
I tell Ambria to stay the night. I don't want The Protectors seeing her. It was bad enough for her to even come here. I ask Orion what he is doing here but he says that he is also trying to protect Ambria. He says he wants her to teleport back. It's funny how Orion and Ambria started off hating each other. But now they seem to be working together. They must have worked things out today.
A distant loud bang interrupts my thoughts. It came from downstairs. Before I have time to figure out what happened, my door suddenly opens and 5 or 6 Protectors enter my room. Each Protector has a stern look. I look at their faces and realize at the back is Cayden. He looks at me, but gives no emotion.
I know that they are here because we got caught. And now we are going to be punished. I just can't believe that Cayden, the boy I liked, was here to take me down. It seemed odd to me that the smiling boy at the cafe, now had no emotion on his face to describe how he felt about the situation. Surely, he didn't care.
